We loved the warmth that we were received from the host on arrival; the view of the sea from the location; the substantial breakfast that was offered; the assistance provided by the host when we needed it; a beautiful experience.

It is a bit of a climb from the train station or bus stop, so be aware if you don't travel by car.

The family atmosphere, like living with your best friends, Our host Antionella and family were the magic ingredient. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. the view over the Bay of Naples, the mountains, just relaxing under the rustic patio, picking the odd grape, fig, pear, eating the tradition sweet breakfast mostly home produce and cooked. The working small farm atmosphere, with the usual morning cockerel calls, cats and dogs, peacocks and crickets, the bustle of town, church bells, firework celebrations, all noises filtering up the mountainside, the bakery just up the road, (yep all cooked the traditional way in open fire ovens).

Our stay was to short, could have been another 6 months longer.

the property was beautiful, a very authentic Italian experience staying with a lovely family. Antonella the host and her daughter were so accommodating and friendly and even offered to drop us into town and help us find a scooter hire service. We loved our stay here.

I cannot speak highly enough of L'Olivara. The room was great, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. The family are so kind, generous and the most incredible hosts. The breakfast each morning, under the shade, looking out onto Sorrento, was delicious and plentiful. The local restaurant that they recommended was so good we went twice! We loved staying here and are looking forward to our next visit.

If you are not driving/taking a scooter it is a bit of a climb to get to the property. 30 minute walk from Piano Di Sorrento train station, mostly uphill so I would plan your dinners in advance.

The host Antonella is lovely. She really makes you feel right at home. The property is beautiful and clean with beautiful views.

It’s a bit of an uphill climb in narrow streets to get to the property, but it’s still close to the main central area of Sorrento which is nice.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. a stunning location and beautiful view. Close enough to walk to all amenities and into town, yet far away enough to enjoy the tranquility and country feel.

L’olivara is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. L’olivara is a beautiful family home that is surrounded by olive trees. Located just a 10 minute drive up from Sorrento, the surrounding views are absolutely stunning, where you can see both mountains and sea. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, safe and clean with fresh towels provided daily. We would recommend a hire car, as it’s a perfect location for nipping to the Almalfi coast and the port for visits to Capri. Antonella was more than happy to drop us into sorrento for some dinner the night we arrived, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was served every morning on the patio, where we enjoyed homemade jams and breads (if you’re coeliac like me you will most certainly be looked after !) whilst enjoining the views. All in all we had an incredible stay and hope to return some day soon! Thank you again Antonella :)

There are no words to describe hospitality of Antonella and her family. Home away of home in direct meaning of the word. And please, do not miss cooking with Antonella! Best lunch we had, we cooked together.

Some say it is difficult to find/drive there. Nothing like it compared to some other locations we tried. This is to say, we totally liked all of it.

the mosquitos were bad in the outdoor restaurant and we had to put the mosquito coil in our room....but you can't control for those. We had mosquitos ALL OVER ITALY! We were prepared!

Agriturismo L’Olivara is the perfect place to experience a peaceful vacation on the hillside above Piano Di Sorrento. The main building and the outside eating areas blend in beautifully with the amazing natural surroundings. I spent three relaxing evenings and two restful days at this heavenly location. The highlight of my stay was preparing an afternoon meal of grilled meat and bruschetta from locally baked bread with a friend. We then enjoyed the spectacular coastal view and the sounds of silence while eating at a cozy table setting prepared by the host. It was breathtaking! I must also say that the panoramic view from the balcony attached to my room was incredible! Watching the early morning sun rise was a religious experience!

This charming property was one of the highlights of our recent 18 day Italy adventure! The family is lovely, the room was so quaint and comfortable and the views are amazing! The terrace area was so nice for breakfast or just relaxing. The hosts were so helpful in providing local information and recommendations!

We aren't in shape for the stairs to the room! haha But the views from the balcony are soooo worth it! Nothing to not like about this property!

Room was small.Low beams so always banging head! No near resteraunts....,had to drive each evening for a meal. Quite difficult to find.
