Colive Ahangama

We loved Colive! The space was amazing for working and socialising. We had some work calls which could be conducted in their open workspace or private room. The property itself has a kitchen for guests to use as well as plenty of spaces to relaxing and play games.

Rooms were quite hot without air conditioning but manageable with fans. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great.

Luxurious, clean property, with amazing kind staff & really good coworking facilities. Both the common areas, coworking places, rooftop & rooms were amazing. They always had electricity and good wifi, even id the entire area did not. I really enjoyed my stay and felt really welcomed by the staff. The location is perfect and quiet, just off the main road. They are also focusing on including more community activities (as of now they sometimes offered free banana bread, yoga classes, but they are having plans to do more!)

The scenery is beautiful, the upkeep of the home is great, could be a bit more weather proof near the roof rooms as it become quite wet when raining but it was a beautiful relaxing place to do some work if you are needing a quite space to work and travel

It was good definitely an adventurous room the budget single room, a bit of a safety risk in the rain with slippery metal winding stairs but other than that it was ok. Was a little hard the location to find but other than.

Great wifi, includes bicycle that is free to use which was really helpful seeing as it’s a little bit far from some places. Nice common spaces. Good place to work. Super friendly staff. There was still enough restaurants around to get by. I mainly stayed here to surf gas stations break nearby as it’s very close but then discovered there’s not really any board rentals nearby. If you stay it would really benefit to have a scooter. Then it’s a really great option and solves my issues. There’s an upstairs area as well that you can do yoga or exercise and borrow yoga mats.

They don’t have a/c for environmental reasons which I respect, but in saying that it was still very hot at times. And yes plenty of fans but then you have loud fans on all the time. But it’s not a big deal, with windows open it was comfortable.
