The apartment is in close proximity to all places of interest in Puerto Plata. The Colonial Zone is about 15 minutes and the Malecón max 30 minutes walk away.
We had a car, but most of the time chose to walk around the area. The streets are safe, if you exercise normal caution. The barrio is very quiet 🤫
The apartment was clean and the terrace is amazing. You can see the Loma from here and a perfect place to have an early morning coffee and watch the streets come to life.
Jacques is a very nice host and was always available.
I would definitely book here again!
The only suggestion I would add is to maybe leave more towels and toilet paper for longer stays, though the host lives downstairs and is always available if more are needed.
