Amazing design-forward cabin – a really considered layout and aesthetic. Head and shoulders above the current flood of poorly designed and equipped 'cabin the hills' getaways that look good on Insta but don't deliver on the stay.

Basin in the kitchen it a little finicky to wash dishes in (more of a bathroom vanity-top sink) but not really an issue just an observation.

Really loved our stay. Stunning view and really beautiful house. Enjoyed the short hike

We had the most beautiful two-night stay at Suidster Farm celebrating my husband’s birthday, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave! The cottage was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with everything thoughtfully provided. We loved having the fireplace for cosy evenings, enjoying a braai, and making our own meals with the fully equipped kitchen. We also really enjoyed exploring the farm, including the 5 km trail, and taking in the beautiful fynbos, indigenous vegetation and stunning views. Our dogs absolutely loved it too, which made the stay even more special. Our host was wonderful, with great communication and quick answers to all our questions. Everything about the stay was so well thought out and made it feel easy and relaxing from start to finish. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back. A truly special place! ❤️

Nothing

It was boiling hot and there was no ice or ice trays. Our hosts did provide us with ice at no charge after a WhatsApp. The washing up facilities are completely insufficient. A tiny bathroom basin, one sponge and a quarter of a bottle of watered down dish wash liquid. You have to plug the toaster in on the floor. No knife sharpener so carving and chopping was unpleasant. No umbrella so we had to retreat inside for shade. No swimming towels. The liquid soap was half full. The vases were all empty. The unit in the kitchenette has an under counter area that has sharp edges. You need to be careful of your shins while prepping food or cooking.
