This was an amazing place. Comfortable beds, thoughtfully furnished, and wonderfully located. It was one of the best B and B's we've ever stayed in.

Great location although lots of stairs inevitably! Thoughtfully presented with nice personal touches. Comfortable and charming.

We really liked the location and it is a 5 minute walk to several restaurants and a Sainsburys (small grocery store). The park is across the street and the D-Day museum is a short walk and well done. We took the bus to the dockyards and that was easy. The flat is spacious and was well equipped and when we reached out about dishwasher pods they appeared outside our door within a few hours. Liked the washing machine and it worked well. The hosts were very responsive when I was stressed about the parking as it was street parking and we were not accustomed to how it worked. They were very patient and it was no problem in the end. They responded to any comments and queries quickly.

The flat is a 4 story walk up. We were prepared based on reviews and it was clarified in the correspondence with our hosts. The stairs are numerous but the step box is not high so they were fine to negotiate. You get your steps in! It worked for us but you need to be prepared with your suitcases. A fan would have been nice one evening but it cooled off with the windows all open. The bed was very springy but once we put the duvet under the sheet it worked well. We find duvets too warm and they had light blankets so that worked out fine. The washing machine is a dual washer and dryer, but it does not dry completely so a clothes rack would have been useful rather than draping on chairs and clothes hangers. They did not take long to totally dry at that point. So minor cons that could all be worked around. We would return to this place if we ever get back this way.

The charm and vintage of the flat was great and the location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach. The decor in the flat was lovely, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very pretty. The host was very attentive when needed. Thank you!

I couldn’t find a clothes rack for hanging damp clothes. The washer was also a dryer but it took a long time to dry the clothes.
