Riad muy grande y bien ubicado. Personal encantador. El desayuno muy bueno
Fuimos en enero y cuesta caldear la habitación y, sobre todo, el baño. El desayuno se servía en la terraza y hacía un poco de frío

A most sumptuously decorated riad - with delightful, friendly and helpful staff. It's right in the thick of the medina with a great view from the peaceful roof terrace across Meknes, where we were brought mint tea and made to feel very welcome. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy a Moroccan city that's a bit more off the tourist trail than some. The bed was very comfortable.
The room was a bit dark which I think, having stayed in a few, is a general hazard of riads when they overlook a covered courtyard, but it was very well appointed.

Petit déjeuner excellent. Chambres spacieuses pour tout notre groupe (6 chambres). Magnifique riad authentique.
1 chambre sur les 6 réservées avec des remontées mal odorantes.

Everything was clean, not fake clean. Excellent customer service. Great space
Two of the ACs were not functioning properly. It's a long trek with luggage from the medina gate to the riad. Also, lots and lots of stairs.

Amazing sun terrace. The breakfast was great and the plants everywhere made it so cosy. The whole Riad is like a palace. It's an impressive building. The owners went above and beyond to help us. We really loved our stay here and this was the best place we stayed at in Morocco.
The whole city was in renovation, so we relaxed in the hotel and went shopping instead.

Liked the location and the breakfast on the terrace
Room was facing inside without windows

Beautiful property, right inside the Medina- easy to find. Quiet, nice terrace and great staff and owner. We arrived a day early and they accommodated us - with just a small fee because it was last minute and a larger room I think. Very understanding owner and staff.
Nothing- all was great. Keep in mind Riads have many stairs.

the Terrace is superb, very well decorated and very pleasant. the breakfast served there is something that I cannot forget
we had a room close to the Kitchen (we were informed) but this could make your night a little bit more noisy - even though still a 10 for me

The Riad was beautiful with big rooms and the breakfast was amazing. The rooftop was very nice too. The staff was polite, even more the ladies in the kitchen!
In the bathroom of our room there was a second door (which was thankfully locked 🙂) but all the wind from outside was howling inside the room from that door.

Had a great time!
The noise from outdoors was a bit much, but the rest was great!

Terrace with a great view and the breakfast was really good and served in the terrace
The windows are really not isolated so you hear everything happening on the outside. We got bad luck cause there was a football game and we could hear the neighbor's TV like they were in our room.

The location, the riad itself is well decorated. The terrace is beautiful
The bathroom was too small. We were expecting a double bed but had 2 single ones.
I was asked about my food allergies but didn't receive any assistance.

The welcome was so great and we were even able to check in very early. The breakfast was the best we've had in our time in Morocco. The owner happened to also own the rug shop below so we bought 3 rugs too! I can highly recommend this place.
It was all amazing

What a gem! this place is unbelievable in its beauty. And what made it even more beautiful was the warm welcome of the owner Juliette. Our stay was short but we felt at home immediately and didn't want to leave. Breakfast at the terrace was dreamy and we can't wait to be back at the Petit Ksar. Thank you!

Beautifully renovated interior, all done by hand over a seven year period. Makes the guests feel like they are entering a royal palace or museum! Nice breakfast included. Spacious terrace with a view of the city. Good location to explore the medina or Volubilis (a day trip). We parked for 20DH overnight in Lala Aouda square just outside the medina - just don't park at the left end near the judicial court or you'll be blocked in by the morning.
Windows need curtains to be darker at night. Bathroom is small and narrow due to the building constraints, and the toilet is inside the shower area, so you have to walk across wet floor to use the toilet after someone has showered. We had our own slippers, eye blinds and ear plugs, so these were not major issues.

Heating worked in the room. Spacious, sockets near the bed both sides. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, good wifi, hot water. Good location in the medina.
Riad a little cold in the public areas. This will be an advantage in summer though! Strange arrangement of shower and toilet means that after you shower the next person gets wet feet going to the loo. Could've done with extra pillows. Staff probably would have provided these if I'd asked.

The riad was really authentic and the breakfast was really good. The owner was really helpful and made herself available on the phone. She was not physically at the riad but still available which was good.
1. When we arrive in our room the Smell of sewer was present so we notify the owner which she was really quick to answer and changed us to another room. Then the nightmare started which was Nothing to do with the owner and understand that it was out of her control but still i would have thought that because of this we would have been reimburse for both night and not just one and the police would have been called upon knowing about this issue from the staff. Here is the story. When we moved from our new room at around midnight the sound of someone drilling started and the sound was so lound that it woke us. This drilling kept on going all night even someone else that was staying at the riad when in to the street to find who was doi g the noise and threathen to call the police. They stop for about 2 hrs then started again. They actually stop at around 8AM. I even text the owner at 3AM in the morning to let her know about this. Police should have been called but it was never done. So in the morning i advice the owner that we couldnt not take the chance to have this incident happen again. We had been travelling to Marrakech, Casablanca and we where exausted to the end. So we told her that we were leaving to the next town.
This incident doesnt take away the beauty of the Riad. But i would maybe stay around Volubilis or stay longer in Fes if you are going that way. Most attraction in Meknes are under construction.
