Nothing, the owner had an attitude and very rude, I don’t know whether because we were black. The house was dirty. You could see that someone was there, but they did not clean. The floors were dirty, shower you could see that it was used but not cleaned. The carpet was dirty, the cupboards when you opened them there were spider webs and spiders. We wanted to leave, but he said we will forfeit our money. We only slept there on Friday and had to make a plan on Saturday night because my sister's child has sinuses, had breathing problems because of dust in the house. You will think I am exaggerating but I am not. I took pictures. The bedding was dirty, the other one was not even ironed.
Booking.com, we as the public trust you with our lives, that is the reason why we use your app to make booking. I am extremely disappointed, coming with your family to a dirty house and you could see that he is taking advantage. Booking.com need to check these places and make sure that they are up to standard. We had to buy dish washer as it was not provided, the dishcloths were dirty. I am very disappointed on you Booking.com, just because we are black, he things that we deserve such a treatment. The fridge was dirty with rotten things. Even at my house I don't sleep in a dirty house, dirty linen. He disrespected us and to top it all its his attitude.

Location not bad
The place was very dirty, no bed room mats, beds condition very bad, sheets very dirty.

Linen had blood stains, the sheets had maps showing that people had sex on the bed. The landlord was rude and condescending. We had to buy our own electricity, cupboards are old, some beds were uncomfortable. I kept quiet about because I was trying to be nice yet the landlord is complaining that we didn't wash dishes not clean the unit. He is shooting at me for that. He is unprofessional and rude

The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we also had privacy during our stay.
The host wanting to charge us R300 more for the late check-in even though we arrived the next day ,and another fee for leaving the place 4hrs earlier. But he later said we must leave it when we started complaining.

The host was friendly and accommodating. Directed us to the local shopping area. The accommodation was neat and comfortable. The highlight for me was the cool sea breeze and the beautiful garden.

Didnt feel friendly . Rooms were neat but bad smelling because of the lack of air circulation. Kitchen was dirty underneath the sink n smelly. Same the toilets also. Not clean as a normal expectation. Fans were not working properly in two rooms, cudn't sleep properly at this hot weather without fan. I think, the fridge was from 1980's. Freezer was not at all cooling. We had to recharge electricity also for the stay. Not happy with the stay.
Need a lot if improvement for money u spend in this stay.

Location, close to the beaches
The owner needs to constantly update on bookings.com each single change that occurs. There was no oven or stove, but a 2 plate in stead. Prepaid was for our own accounts with minimal units added by the host. Such needs to be disclosed prior, not surprising visitors.

We liked yard was clean
House was smelling bad bedding and pellows was not clean was smelling bad and when you open wardrobe and kitchen unit was bad smell also. they have to wash all the bedding not only the comfort i ended up going to buy throw to use it on my bed.and main bedroom fan was so noisy

I liked that the property was close to all the places where we wanted to visit. It was in a quiet and safe area and the garden was lovely. I also liked how spacious the rooms were.
I didn’t like the humid smell that came from the closet in the main room and it looked like there were some termites eating into the wood in some places.

It is not a modern place. Everything is extremely old.
There is no air-conditioning, cleaning or change of towels.

Host was very friendly and helpfull. He sugested a local eatery wich we subsequently visited. Love the huge bath. This was the first place where i fitted in the bath.
Could not fit in the shower. No fan in the main bedroom. The host did borrow us a stand fan but it was very loud and kept me awake at night. There is a lack of privacy in the main bedroom as the family parks their cars right next to the window. With open curtains to let cold air in, the owners family saw inside the room where i was still sleeping...

The hosts were very hospitable. The unit was very clean and spacious. The entire property is very safe and secure. The hosts were very kind and even went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and are okay and happy.

There is nothing to dislike about this place. Friendly owner, quite place. Can hear the sea. Hands down, the best place to stay in the Bluff.
