A fabulous cross bnb/boutique hotel with a fabulous restaurant attached with an amazing outdoor garden . it is only 14 minutes flat walk to the Historic centre. Our amazing host despite being about to have a bus of tourists arriving for lunch, took time out to let us check in early. We were able to double park to unload bags and then take the car a few streets away to park it.Thre were 5 of us with three rooms. All were amazing.
Be aware that there are two floors of rooms and at least one set of stairs.

The room we stayed in was absolutely GORGEOUS and easy to get to from the train station. The attached restaurant was delicious as well. I made a mistake booking and Francis was more than accommodating and allowed us to pay the difference (booked the room for one person, but there were three of us).
Having to go up stairs with heavy luggage (though Francis did help us carry them up).

Great location — just a 5-minute walk from the train station, close to one of the main attractions, and not far from the city center.
The room was very uncomfortable, outdated, and had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. Someone knocked on the door at night. The kettle had limescale and rust.
