Acadie Saint Victor - Hôtel restaurant -Face mer- Châtelaillon plage

Staff were very welcoming and loved our dogs as much as us! Hotel right on the beach meant great views. Good breakfast. Food in the restaurant was excellent....shame the restaurant was closed on the Sunday. The quirkiness of the décor. Air con was a plus.

Our room was a little on the small side but we were originally only staying for one night. Stayed an additional night as it was so nice and relaxing to be by the beach.

This hotel was a fantastic find! The deal staff were very helpful and friendly. My son can speak French, but the last included us in English in some conversations The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. There was a small road to cross (very quiet road), and then straight onto the beach! It was a 5-10 minute walk to the main restaurant and cafe area. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station that takes you to La Rochelle where there is also lots to explore. The town itself encourages cycling, and because of this, the walk along the front felt very safe. The markets are also amazing! The covered daily market had all sorts of fresh food. The street market that is on twice a week is awesome, I clocked it at half a mile with stalls on both sides! This is a lovely place to visit.

The room we had was described as having a garden view, there wasn't one! This didn't bother us though as we didn't spend much time looking out of the window! It's worth being aware of the tide times, and organising your day around them if you enjoy going in the water. When there is a low tide it is a very long walk to the sea, but at high tide, the beach is perfect.

Relativ grosses Familienzimmer. Sympathisches Ambiente. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Gute Lage direkt gegenüber Strand/Meer. PP in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Eine sehr schöne Lage mit Blick aufs Meer, nur ein paar Schritte bis zum Wasser. Nur 20 min bis La Rochelle mit dem Auto.

Sehr kleines Zimmer. Nicht passend für 3 Personen. D.h. ein winziger Schrank welcher nicht mal für 2 Personen genug wäre.
