The location was excellent. The accommodation was neat, tidy and comfortable. The cooking equipment was good.

The location was excellent but getting from the local road up to the property involved driving on a poorly surfaced laneway with loose gravel, potholes and a steep incline. This should be advised in advance. The surveillance cameras were intrusive and these should have been advise also. To have the facility to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view was marred by the surveillance cameras. We felt we were being watched.

This is actually my dream house, such a cosy cabin in rural Donegal with a stunning view!

That I can't move in!

Location was superb for looking out over Donegal Bay, with views across the mountains of multiple counties - when it wasn't raining! Really quiet place too, lots of bird life (including a robin that liked to pose on the wall outside the house), and sheep in the fields nearby. As a base for exploring the south side of the county, it's an excellent spot. You could potentially explore the middle and north of the county, but it's a 2 hour drive (roughly) to the Letterkenny area, and the proper north part of the county is further than that. Plenty of touristy options within a 30 minute drive for those looking for that kind of thing. Or just sit out front with a cup of tea and watch the sheep! You need to be comfortable with driving on one-car-wide lanes to reach the property, but there are passing points and in general everyone knows how to use them (including reversing to make passing possible).

There were a few maintenance related issues, all of which have been reported to the host for resolution - none of them were a damper on our stay or a reason to not book the property again in the future.

Tolle Lage, Herrlicher Blick.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war schlecht. Für den angebotenene Preis bekam man eine nicht wirlich saubere Unterkunft. Die Küche ist sehr schlecht ausgestattet. Sehr wenig Geschirr. Der Komfort ist sehr einfach. Der Kühlschrank ist kaputt und im schlechten Zustand. Alles in Allem wirkt das Haus leider etwas runtergekommen. Schade, da doch die Lage wirklich traumhaft ist. Eine Kompensation wurde abgelehnt.
