The apartment is large and nice. Very well equipped.

The beds have old mattresses

We stayed at Appartamento luminoso for the Monza GP as a group of 5, and it was overall a very good stay. The Apartment & Host Space & Comfort: The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and features a nice mountain view. Environment: Very quiet area—we rarely heard any noise from neighbors. Host: Exceptionally responsive and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early (after 10:30 AM) at no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated. Check-in Process: Instructions were clear. Communication was handled easily via WhatsApp. You will need to fill out an online registration form for all guests, sign an e-agreement, and pay the local city tax before arrival. Laundry & Facilities Washing & Drying: There is a washing machine, and the host provided 3 detergent pods. If you plan to wash frequently, bring or buy extra detergent. There is ample space on the balcony to hang dry clothes. Location & Accessibility Train Station: A quick 5-minute walk to Lecco train station—a great base for Monza. Path & Stairs: The walk to the station is slightly steep over a gravel path, making rolling large luggage a bit tough. There are also 2–3 small steps at the complex entrance before reaching the small elevator. Overall, a comfortable stay as long as you're aware of the bathroom setup!

The Shower Situation Narrow Bathtub: I thought other reviewers were exaggerating about the shower issue, but we experienced the exact same problem. The bathtub is quite small and narrow—even as petite, small-framed Asians, we found it tight and uncomfortable to move around in. Shower Curtain Flapping: Because of the setup with curtains on both sides (near the window and to block water), turning on the shower with decent pressure creates a wind effect inside the narrow tub. The curtains constantly flap and sway into your body. The only way to avoid this is pushing the curtain outward or opening the window, which obviously compromises privacy. Flooding & Floor Drainage: Pushing the curtain outward inevitably splashes water all over the floor. Since the bathroom floor lacks a drainage hole, water pools, making it very slippery. We had to constantly wipe down the floor with towels to keep it dry.

Location, space, easy check-in, air conditioning, painting on the wall, a very well equipped apartment for a family of 4/5 members.

Shower is slippery and the the water pressure is a bit extreme.

Lo mejor del apartamento es su amplitud, limpieza y su excelente ubicación: a pocos minutos del centro de Lecco, del lago y de la estación de ferrocarril. Además, dispone de plaza de garaje en el mismo edificio. Aunque no hay acceso directo desde el ascensor, el garaje se encuentra a tres pisos de escaleras desde el portal. El apartamento es muy espacioso y cuenta con un salón, una cocina totalmente equipada, dos habitaciones y un aseo de cortesía. Incluye lavadora, horno, utensilios de cocina, plancha y secador de pelo, así como champú, gel de baño y productos para lavar los platos.

La bañera resulta bastante incómoda, y la cortina de ducha es demasiado corta, lo que provoca que el agua se salga con facilidad. En general, hay varios aspectos que podrían mejorarse: los muebles son de estilos muy distintos, una de las habitaciones está montada al revés —lo que obliga a apagar la luz antes de acostarte—, y algunos enchufes están fijados con cinta aislante. Además, hay puntas en los muebles que no están bien clavadas y pueden causar rasguños al rozarlas. En definitiva, aunque la ubicación es buena, si volviera a Lecco probablemente optaría por otro apartamento.
