The host was fantastic, she helped us gather gifts and with the passes to the beach club

The beds were very hard and difficult to sleep on.

Nicely decorated, decent kitchen & appliances, decent size bathroom & shower, good furniture

1. Door jammed on us, locking us out so we had to wait almost 30 min for staff to come to open up the door. Door lock was replaced. 2. Double bed is too small for 2 people, also it was TOO HARD, very uncomfortable to sleep on w/ scratchy cheap sheets & polyester blanket. Terrible 2 nights sleep. 3. Sewage back-up into the shower, stunk/smelled up the entire place. We cleaned it up ourselves. 4. Ceiling was made w/ poor quality, could hear every step, voices of people above us, was very loud w/ thin ceiling/upstairs flooring. 5. Double bed is too small for 2 people, when you have ample room to have put in a queen, but you choose the cheaper size. 6. Poor quality shower head, lack of shower pressure, took twice as long to have a shower when the shower pressure was so low. 7. No luggage tables/folding tables to place luggage on. 8. Large car gate is a pain to open, very poorly constructed, heavy to move. 9. We asked for consideration from the owners to have some money returned to us for our 2 nights terrible stay, and the owners (Craig & Risa) didn't refund what we were due and owe us money.

Quiet area. Staff are veru helpful. Indoor facilities are new and working well. Kitchen is fully equipped. Art pieces inside the unit are a nice touch ! Guests can access pool and facilities in sister-hotel Ocean Breeze downtown 👍

Outdoor seating not available when I arrived but fixed by staff the following day. Bedsheets and towels do not smell clean. I had to ask housekeeping to change my sheets on the 2nd day, which was done right away, bec I was too tired when I arrived.

Excellent location. Very quiet but within easy walking distance of everything. The owners were very responsive in replying to requests, and took me to the airport to retrieve lost luggage at no charge. The facilities were well connected to Wi-fi and there was a huge choice of movies and shows available on the Tv.

The bikes on offer required servicing. The house keeping plan was a little uncertain.

The Flying Toucan is a 4 apartment property in a great location, just 100 yards from the beach, a short walk to grocery store and bank. It is right next to the main walkway in town. The property is freshly renovated and has a well equipped kitchen. The internet is fast and reliable. A membership to the Placencia Beach Club which has a pool and beach chairs and a great restaurant is included.
