Utopia Beach Club

Das Utopia Beach Resort hat uns dieses Mal wirklich begeistert! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Mhamed Nagar, den Front Office Manager, der einen grossartigen Job macht. Er hat all unsere Wünsche schnell, unkompliziert und zuverlässig umgesetzt und sich mit vollem Einsatz dafür engagiert, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen. So viel Aufmerksamkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und echtes Engagement sind alles andere als selbstverständlich. Ein riesiges Dankeschön dafür! Auch kulinarisch hat das Resort einen gewaltigen Sprung nach vorne gemacht! Im Vergleich zu unserem Aufenthalt 2025 ist das Essen gefühlt um 200 % besser geworden. Diese positive Entwicklung hat uns wirklich überrascht und überzeugt. Das Frühstück ist ausgesprochen vielfältig und bietet eine tolle Auswahl an verschiedensten Brotsorten sowie zahlreiche weitere Leckereien – so startet man gerne in den Tag. Auch das Abendessen ist ein echtes Highlight: Es gibt immer wieder Neues zu entdecken und auszuprobieren, die Auswahl ist abwechslungsreich und die Gerichte sind richtig lecker. Hier merkt man, dass sich etwas getan hat und viel Mühe in die Qualität und Vielfalt investiert wird. Für uns zeigt sich hier, wie viel ein engagiertes Team und der Wille zur Verbesserung bewirken können. Die Kombination aus herzlichem Service, persönlicher Betreuung und der deutlichen Steigerung der kulinarischen Qualität macht den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Unser Fazit: Das Utopia Beach Resort hat sich für uns nochmals deutlich verbessert! Ein besonderes Lob an Mohamed Nagar und das gesamte Team, die dazu beitragen, dass man sich als Gast willkommen und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal. Wer Erholung, freundlichen Service und gutes Essen schätzt, ist hier genau richtig! 🐠☀️🌴

Einzig die lokalen Alkoholischen Getränke welche inbegriffen sind, haben uns nicht so geschmeckt.

Staff extremely helpful and accessible, including the managers -very good restaurants - a large quiet zone on the beach excellent for snorkeling - nice coral accessible from the beach with an amazing variety of fishes - superior room large & well equipped

we took a snorkeling boat tour organized by a contracting company an where deceived. First, by law , to snorkel from the boat, it is mandatory by law to wear a live vest and to remain tightly grouped, which is quite boring for experienced snorkelers. Second, the boat tour included 2 different snorkeling spots / 2 divings, but we stay in only one spot with two dives above the same small uninteresting reef with only dead coral and no fish at all.

Vieles war beim "All Inclusive" wirklich dabei. Man konnte untertags am Strand einfach Kaffee holen, kleine Pizzen oder Sonstiges. Beim Essen gab es immer eine grosse Auswahl, aber das Essen von Tag zu Tag war eigentlich immer das Gleiche. Das Hausriff war super fürs Freediving! Zwischen 3 und 10m tief, coole Durchgänge zwischen den Felsen 😊 Super fand ich auch, dass man seine Liege während des Aufenthalts gesichert hatte. Die blieb für einen reserviert.

Ich finde es schade, dass das Hotel für Gehbehinderte offensichtlich nicht ausgelegt ist. Es gibt immer irgendwelche Treppen, die man nehmen muss. Ich fand es komisch, dass Mitarbeiter immer wieder nach Wechselgeld gefragt haben. Wir wurden während unseres 7-Tage-Aufenthalts 4 oder 5 mal angesprochen. Keine Ahnung, was das sollte. Am Strand gab es viele Leute, die immer wieder gefragt haben, ob man eine Massage wolle, Fusspflege, Fuss-Fischbad, Kamelreiten etc. Aber nicht einmal wurde gefragt, ob man einen Schnorchelausflug machen wolle. Es gibt ein Dive Center, aber das muss man selbstständig aufsuchen und sich dort in Listen eintragen. Während meinen Ferien ist nicht ein einziger Schnorchelausflug zustande gekommen, den ich hätte besuchen können, weil die Mindestteilnehmerza nicht erreicht wurde. Die Listen blieben leer. So musste ich auf Angebote von Tripadvisor resp. GetYourGuide zurückgreifen. Das sollte in so einem grossen Ressort nicht nötig sein; ich hätte mindestens erwartet, dass man dann vom Hotel her an umliegende Anbieter vermittelt wird. Wirklich schade.

The beach and sea spot is the best, the reef keeps the water calm and clear at all time, the underwater life is unique, it's literally like swimming in a fish tank, perfect for snorkeling and diving. The service in the resort is very good, the staff is polite and efficient, we loved the company of Ahmed Kamel during our meals, he made sure nothing was missing on our table and did it always with a warm smile, but of course he wasn't the only one, from the room cleaner to the guy in charge to call the taxi to the airport, everyone was just lovely. On the beach there is a bit of pressure from the sales guy but it's never over the line, actually we were always enjoying a good chat with Said who eventually was calling by just for a daily greeting. I personally loved the spa experience, we had a Romeo and Juliette couple treatment which was an unusual experience with coconut scrub, foam cleansing, sauna and steaming room, followed by a 45 mins of excellent massage, really recommended. We loved the diving course, professional and complete, and the guided trip to the close al quseir, anything else is too far and requires 4/5 hours of bus journey each way, not for us!

The architecture of the village is very beautiful, unfortunately most of the spaces (main pool, slides and few terrace bars) were closed, probably due to the low season, we went at the beginning of February, which, let me warn you, is also particularly cold, in this time of the year the sun is mostly out and warm but there is an annoying cold wind that won't let the experience really be enjoyable expecially to those that are particularly sensitive to the low temperatures, it's a bit hard to get in the water as well. When we arrived they were renovating the main restaurant and told us to use only the "Italian" restaurant, which we thought it was just one of the options available but when the renovation was over and they opened back the main restaurant we were forbidden to walk in the "italian" restaurant, from what I saw it was serving the same food but it was much closer to the beach and all the other opened amenities, as we spent about 10 days of our 2 weeks holidays in that restaurant I thought it was over the line to be asked to leave, it was very quiet the all time of our staying and I can't really understand what was the need to make us feel unwelcome all of a sudden. The resort is connected to an Italian tour operator, which sort of owns the best corners of the resort, from the apartments, to the auditorium, to the beach activities and best tanning spots which are organised all around the beautiful bay, the internationals are sent to another area of the beach were the sea doesn't look as good. At this time of the year There is no much entertainment around the resort except for the italian tour operator staff, but they would entertain exclusively the veraclub guests, i mean you can join them, if you know the language, but they don't make much effort to have you interacting or be part of it if you are not one of them. Not a big deal anyways, the '80s style of entertainment offered was mostly annoying anyways .
