Just go. You won’t find a better host. The guest book has tons of well researched ideas on restaurants, things to do, local adventures. You can walk to the beach, and ride to the bike trail - you can ride downtown, to trailheads, and even to Ucluelet. The house is so welcoming, every detail thought out, well appointed furnishings and a superior kitchen. We are 3 couples in our 60’s and the house more then met our needs.

Highly recommend this property—great location, comfortable, really well appointed kitchen, great hot tub. Minor issue at first was immediately resolved by host. Three queen beds are great for three couples—so if your party has two singles, someone will sleep on pull out sofa in living room.

I was fortunate to stay at the Blue heron house with my mom, brother and sister-in-law. We were in the Tofino area to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday. We were very happy with the location of the house. It’s in a great area, so close to everything, not to mention a hop, skip and a jump to Chesterman beach. We loved our stay at Blue Heron house. It has everything you’ll possibly need. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Separate towels for the beach and hot-tub and Kelly has provided a lovely, spacious wagon to bring all your stuff to the beach. Theres also blankets you can bring to the beach or use at the fire pit. There is nothing lacking for your stay at this place. The beds are super comfortable and it’s so quiet at night! I highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time staying at Blue Heron The property worked perfectly for us..there was plenty of room for both couples and we appreciated all the thoughtful amenities..from the many kitchen tools..to the numerous beach towels & mats..all ready for us..to the comfy living area..the hot tub :-) It was so w quiet staying in the trees ..We loved pulling that little wagon to Chesterman Beach..such an amazing spot! So thanks for a great stay & being such great hosts! We hope to back again next year !

Myself and two other couples stayed here while in Tofino for a friends wedding. The place was in a super nice location, it was very peaceful and there was everything we needed at the place plus more. The hosts have thought of everything. I hope to stay here again!

Quiet location. Really lovely home which is well equipped. Easy bike ride into Tofino. Minutes walk across to the beach. Slept really well of lovely comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Very flexible owners who would go the extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable! Prior to to stay, Kelly was very quick to respond and answered each of my questions in great detail. She went as far as listing all the available spices in the kitchen which was a long list along with all the surf rental shops!!! We had a couple of minor issues come up during the stay, but the owners were very quick to respond to resolve the matter every time. We had 2 groups in 2 separate houses. Kelly kindly allowed us to gather here for meals as the other property declined our request to do this. This made our life a lot easier. For the property itself, it is great in a great location and only 5 min walk to south Chesterman beach. Kitchen was very nicely stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Coffee and tea were provided which was a huge bonus. Bathrooms were nicely stocked with towels, soap, and shampoo. I got a chance to meet Kelly during check out and she was just as nice in person. We left a couple items behind and she messaged and offered to bring them to the lower mainland for us on her next trip! Very happy with the stay.

We stayed 4 night to explore Vancouver Island. Wonderful house, well stocked kitchen, everything clean and in good condition, quiet, beautiful hot tub. Views to a tidal bay. 5 min walk to lovely beach. We enjoyed kayaking and hiking and restaurants in Tofino while we were here.

The property is lovely -- exactly as described and in such a gorgeous and convenient spot. The whole outside area is fantastic, with a deck, a fire pit and hot tub, and a super relaxing seating area to watch the tide flow in and out. It's a short walk from the beach and right off the bike path into Tofino. The rooms are comfy and clean. Overall very enjoyable and we were so sad to leave!

The Blue Heron Guest House had everything we needed for a wonderful 5-day stay with friend and family. So close to Chesterman Beach, it was an easy walk for my old golden retriever. The birds were serenading us the whole time. Kelly was super helpful and everything was so clean. Would love to come back another time!

We had a phenomenal time staying at the Blue Heron Guest House. It was equipped with all of the comforts of home, was clean, and had an easy check-in process. While this wasn't my first time visiting Tofino, staying at the Blue Heron made this visit certainly one of my top 3 visits. The hot tub, fire pit, view of the estuary, and 5 min walk to Chesterman beach made ALL the difference in our expectations of how we'll visit Tofino next time. Our family of four recently had a wonderful stay at Blue Heron Guest House. The location is beautiful and convenient. We were able to walk to Chesterman Beach, and enjoyed the setting in nature. The property is meticulously maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. Great communication from the owners, and a wonderful staying experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely house set away from the crowded areas , yet just a short walk to the beach. Everything was exactly as advertised- this warm, comfortable house has a well equipped kitchen, hot tub, fire pit, bbq and outdoor deck. Wonderful seats by the water are perfect for bird watching or having your morning coffee.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the house was beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. We loved how close the house was to Chesterman Beach, how peaceful the neighbourhood was, and we loved having the fire pit and hot tub. Kelly was a fabulous host and we will defiantly be back!

This is our second time we have stayed here and we enjoyed ourselves just as much as the first time. We are already planning our trip back to tofino next year and will be staying at Kelly’s place once again. The accommodations are excellent! It feels like home - easy to settle in and relax! Our stay at the Blue Heron Guesthouse was incredible! The property was well-equipped and in the perfect location. With South Chesterman just a 5 minute walk away, to being a few minute drive from town and the other beaches, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was comfortable for six adults, with a master suite downstairs and two bedrooms on the main upper level. It felt like a home away from home! Kelly is also a superb host, who was very accommodating and allowed our two well-behaved doggos to join us for the weekend. We would love to stay again in the future!

The house was in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood just 5 minutes to a beautiful beach. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking dinners. We also enjoyed using the hot tub. We would definitely go back.

We had a great time staying at the Blue Heron Guest House. The house was perfect for us. It was amazingly well stocked with many towels, everything we could need in the kitchen, two full bathrooms, heated floor in the downstairs bathroom, great hot tub, coffee maker. There were so many sweet details and care taken to meet a diversity of needs. It was a short walk to the beach where we walked daily, boogie boarded and had a surf lesson. It's close to town as well as having some shops even closer by. It is a dog friendly place. Kelly was really the best. I can't imagine a more responsive, kind, generous, warm person to rent from. Kelly's thoughtfulness enhanced our sweet time on vacation. We are grateful.

Blue Heron Guest House was perfect for our family’s return to Tofino. We’ve been to the area many times but this was only the 2nd time at Christmas. The three bedrooms were perfect- lots of room and nice touches designed into the spaces for comfort. The downstairs bedroom was ideal for our daughter and son-in-law with their 4 month old baby (and their terrier as well!). It had its own bathroom which made it more private and self-contained for them. The location of the property was very private with the few nearby houses discreetly tucked into the forested area. Quick walk to Chesterman Beach each day and only short drives to Cox Bay, Long Beach or for the few restaurants we went to. The property was nestled into the forest setting and was was well-maintained and had everything we were looking for our family getaway. The owners put a lot of thought into the look and feel of the decor without affecting the spacious design of the house. Skylights brought lots of light during the day and the fireplace added a nice mood in the evenings. Hot tub was very nice as well, especially after bracing winter walks on the beaches. At the end of our four days we were all unanimously super happy with the stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

This place is beautiful. Peaceful. So close to the beach. Hot tub is wonderful and private. Bedrooms are so cute and comfortable. Very private areas, very quiet and welcoming. Loved the fire pit and the lagoon for our morning coffee. Kelly was so helpful with dog friendly food places and answered all my questions about what we needed to bring. She included everything we needed in our messages amd a super helpful binder upon arrival. Super great location. Cute decorations every where! And everything you need in the kitchen and for your dog!!! Thank you Kelly!

Short walk to the beach with surf boards, quiet neighborhood , comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. An earlier check in would be nice so we were not arriving in the dark
