Lovely property and very well equipped. The heated pool was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 'mature ' ladies. Ideal location with supermarket opposite and a pleasant walk to the marina. Easy and cheap to get to main Playa Blanca area by bus. Only moan was slightly damp smell in and outside villa. Great holiday.

Lisa was swiftly responsive to any questions we had both prior to our booking and whilst we were in the Villa. Villa is ideally placed with a well-stocked supermarket 1 minutes walk away. Very private and is just like it seems in the images. Nice quiet area but lovely walk to Marina and the busier part of Playa Blanca, but also a bus stop on the doorstep if walking not your thing. Villa has all the amenities you could require with lost of wardrobe space and really good television channels if you want to stay in one evening. Nice pool (which we had heated as weather was a bit changeable in March - well worth it). We would definitely stay there again and I can highly recommend it.

This was our third holiday in Playa Blanca, but first in a private villa. We are a family of 5. On the prior holiday we drove around checking out locations for this one.Location of Villa Katarina is excellent - walking distance of two supermarkets (across the road) and children’s play park, or along the coast on paved path to Marina Rubicón/ further. An off road parking space is available and the street has plenty of on road parking too. With the car (we have always used Autoreisen) you can drive within minutes to the beaches Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo, to the town center, or elsewhere. The villa itself is everything the description suggests - plenty of space inside to relax and dine, three good bedrooms upstairs with super comfy beds, and then the large pool and outside area with seating and sun loungers. Our teenagers and especially our 6yo were very happy with the pool. The kitchen is very well provisioned with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, oven, large fridge, freezer, and induction hob. The instructions are in a drawer - but I found this after searching online for what “Lo” meant on the hob - Locked, not Low!The TV has an extensive selection of English channels via IPTV, including video on demand movies if your youngest really wants to watch A Minecraft Movie again.Lisa, the host, gave clear communications whilst booking and before arrival. Thanks Lisa!Would definitely visit again.

Villa Katarina is situated in walking distance to the Marina of Playa Blanca (not to miss with the Puerto, the port of call of ferries from Fuerteventura), and its variety of restaurants and bars. There is a well-stocked HiperDino supermarket right across the street. The highlight of the villa is its patio and pool (the additional fee for heating is worth the price and highly recommended if travelling in low season, e.g., April). The current interior is worn out, with scuffed sofas, damaged furniture, ceiling lamps with exposed cables, etc. The oven did not work and contained cobwebs! Crockery and cutlery, pots and pans are of low quality. Overall cleanliness was average.
