Adventure Lodge was the CLEANEST VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Julie, the host, was prompt in her replies, and was the sweetest host. The house was fully stocked in anything you could ever think to need! We will be coming back during a cooler month, fall in the mountains is our favorite!

The hospitality was top notch! We would love to come back to the adventure lodge! We had a wedding party in town. Enough rooms for everyone to feel welcomed and also gave the right amount of space all throughout the house! Would highly recommend!

The house was exactly as described. It was very clean and the perfect size for our family and my sister's family to spend a few days together and enjoy the zoo. The kitchen was equipped with all the appliances and pots and pans we needed to cook each night. Ron and Julie went above and beyond with little extras like hand written notes and even a sign with the kid's names on it in the play house. We look forward to our next visit to the area and hope this property is available for our stay.

Fantastic location close to the zoo and a variety of Piedmont destinations. Well-equipped and comfortable, with a variety of amenities especially for kids. Very responsive property managers and easy check-in/check-out. Would definitely stay at the Adventure Lodge again!

This is a simple home that has been creatively transformed into a comfortable family retreat. It's location near the NC Zoo and within an easy drive from attractions in Asheboro, Greensboro, and the surrounding area make it a perfect hub for a family vacation.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review. The New Adventure Lodge is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The home is immaculate and very spacious. The interior is completely renovated and beautiful in every detail. The entertainment options are numerous and easy to access. The Wi-Fi is strong and will accommodate any amount of devices. The home sits in a very scenic setting surrounded by trees and woods. The autumn colors were breathtaking. All of this is just minutes from stores and restaurants. Bring your camera to capture the beautiful countryside. The zoo is 10 minutes away along with many other attractions. This was simply the best vacation at the best location.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the adventure lodge. The host was responsive and communicative before, during and after our visit. The house was as advertised, very clean and comfortable, and stocked with every convenience we could imagine and need. We felt very welcome from the snacks to the special message in the kids playhouse. There was something for everyone, and it more than meet the needs of our family. We would not hesitate to recommend the house to our friends, and look to stay here again on a future visit to the area.

We truly enjoyed are stay at the Lodge! We picked Asheboro for it’s location(in the middle of five sisters) and we had a very laid back and relaxed time. Lots of coffee, tea and conversation. Great local restaurants and enough stuff to do nearby to keep us occupied. The place was very well kept and clean. Would stay there again in a minute. Thanks, Kay

The house was absolutely perfect for our family. The kids had plenty to do and loved the playhouse outside. The host had even written them a little welcome note which was so thoughtful. There was also a really nice backyard fire pit, and the backyard in general was such a nice and inviting place to hang out. The neighborhood is really cute and quiet too. Inside, the house was incredibly clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed, from the well-stocked kitchen to the nice bedrooms. There’s an air hockey table in the game room as well. As a large family with young kids we really enjoyed that you could close the door to the hallway where the bedrooms were and it was so quiet- the kids could sleep while the adults hung out in the game room or kitchen. I really can’t say enough about how nice, clean, and well thought out this house was. We would absolutely stay here again!

Julie and her husband went above and BEYOND to make their home so accommodating, comfortable, and fun!! The house is tucked away on a quiet residential street. It has a huge coveted porch, beautiful landscaping in the front yard and a quiet and safe backyard oasis, complete with a clean and huge fire pit, as well as a playhouse and outdoor toys for your little ones! The sun room was beautiful, and overlooked the lush green trees. To me, the hallmark of any amazing host is the attention to detail, and Julie’s is second to none! We had everything we could’ve have needed and more! Each room is decorated beautifully, the beds are so clean and comfortable, the bathrooms fully stocked, the house was just so beautiful! If you’re traveling with family, or even needing a mini break just for you, I HIGHLY recommend visiting and staying at Adventure House!! Julie was an incredible host, always available for any questions or comments. 10/10 recommend!

To get right to the point, we were very pleased with this property and will most definitely stay there again when in the area. First off, the location is fantastic. It's situated in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood conveniently located to the Zoo, Air Museum, Downtown Asheboro, etc. We really never had to drive more than 10 minutes to get to anything we wanted to do in the area. The lot is wooded and has outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy nature, if desired. Second, the property is kept clean (immaculately so) and orderly. It's clear that everything is well cleaned and ordered before each guest arrives. Everything from the silverware and utensils in the drawers to the towels are arranged meticulously, which is not only pleasant when renting a property but also means that things can be easily found when needed. The owners seem to have thought of everything. On the last day of our stay, the neighborhood lost power for a while, and once we informed the owner they quickly contacted us with the location of emergency lighting that they had provided in the house should something like that take place. I've never seen another VRBO host provide this degree of contingency planning. Third, the house is well outfitted with everything that one might need, and everything works. They have a Google Home set up (no internal cameras) with speakers for music, lights, and all sorts of useful kitchen items including an electric kettle for heating water and making tea, coffee pod machine, etc. They also provide various items (like some coffee, tea, water, snacks, etc) to get you started. These touches were much appreciated! Finally, the hosts were very attentive and answered any inquiries I had promptly and in a friendly manner. To add a bit more context to this review, we travel fairly often, and when we do, we nearly always stay in some sort of vacation rental as opposed to a hotel. We can't recall ever staying in a place where the owners provided this level of attention to detail. We usually find something that isn't up to our standards nearly everywhere we stay, but this was not the case at this property. Everything was more than satisfactory. Once again, we'll definitely stay in this property again should we return to the area in the future.
