The property was just as depicted in the pictures. The house was immaculate. The owners have thought of everything. We were greeted personally by the property manager, who explained the workings of the house, which was really appreciated. The housekeeper came in the middle of the week to keep up with us. She also doubled as the chef, and prepared a delicious meal for us one evening. The views from anywhere in the house are incredible. We loved playing all the outdoor games. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation,

We cannot say enough about this whole experience. From the house to the location to the staff.... simply amazing. There were 7 of us and we all agreed that this was probably the best trip we've had. If you're considering, BOOK IMMEDIATELY! We'd move here if we could so it's safe to say, we'll be back. Ida and Luti are the best and so helpful. Thanks for the best Christmas gift!

This place was perfect for our family!! The views are so beautiful! We watched the manatees in the lagoon, went kayaking, fishing, and the pool was terrific! Luti was very helpful when we reached out and Ida cooked us two wonderful home cooked meals! The owners were easy to contact and they really thought of every detail that would be needed during our stay! We enjoyed excursions with companies recommended by them and had a blast! Our favorite was the island hopping! We cannot wait to come back to Ophelia's Villa!

I cant rate this stay highly enough. Near our arrival the hosts sent us an extremely comprehensive information pack with lots of local details about places to eat, tours…everything!
Check in was so well organised with excellent communication. We were met by the lovely Luti who explained everything about the house and was on hand if we needed him.
And the house!! Its large and very beautiful with many thoughtful, welcoming touches that we really appreciated. It honestly felt like a home away from home with books and lots of indoor and outdoor games.
Sitting on the veranda and balcony overlooking the lagoon with manatee and dolphins popping up and hummingbirds all around was the highlight of our stay and we spent lots of time in the pool, kayaking and playing games on our one rainy day.
The location is good-in the heart of Maya beach and a short drive to Placencia. I wasnt sure about staying on the lagoon side as I didn’t know the area but that, along with booking Ophelia's Villa, was the best decision we made all holiday.
We made wonderful family memories, I just hope we can go back there again one day.

The staff at Ophelia’s Villa thought of everything to make this annual family vacation one of our favorites, The personal touches in the villa made us feel welcome, the kitchen was well equipped, the games around the pool area kept us entertained, the pool was relaxing, the kyakys and bikes kept us active and the views/ sunsets were amazing. The host and property manager were attentive to our questions and provided us ample information about the area to have time to relax and enjoy the Belize. They even arranged for us to have a massage at the Villa which was amazing! Thanks Ophelia’s Villa. Hope we can be back again soon.

This has been the absolute best experience. From
Getting to the house, 1st night, all the way until the end. They offer private chef, pool cleaner came during our stay to ensure pool was great, They had a property manager help for anything if needed (never was, but nice to know) and…. The house was amazing! Right by the lagoon and across the street from beach access. They had Kayaks for the lagoon, we had a welcome basket upon arrival and had an app that gives area favorites. We will be back! ✨❤️

The Ophelia’s team went above and beyond to help us prepare for stay even prior to arrival. Once we arrived, the onsite property manager walked us through and we noticed all the thoughtful, welcoming and local touches that enhanced our vacation experience. I will never forget waking up to the sweeping lagoon views that this property offers. My teens won’t forget the pool.

This place was awesome and exactly what the descriptions and the pictures represented. The staff was so helpful and the communication with the host was incredible and they looked out for us for the entire stay. Have to rent this place again and looking forward to.the next time. We had an incredible trip to Placencia/Maya Beach. This was our second trip down and it was our best.
The property was absolutely amazing. The views, sunrise/sunset and amenities were first class.
Communication with Heather, Luti and Ida was simple and very timely. The meals Ida prepared for us were exceptional.
I would recommend this property to everyone.

Beautiful family vacation
We had a wonderful experience at Ophelia’s Villa. The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed! We arranged to have a delicious dinner cooked by Ida on our arrival, and all of our excursions were easy to access from the house. I would definitely recommend for a family vacation

From Colorado to Belize
Villa Ophelia was great! Perfect location with a short drive to Placentia and great restaurants walking distance from the house. Beautiful views from every window. The kids loved the pool and played in it every day. The owner was very responsive if we had a question or needed assistance.

Loved this place
My husband and I stayed 10 days at Ophelia’s Villa. It was perfect! The accommodations are first class, Heather has thought of everything! The little touches throughout made it seem like a boutique resort. Luti and Ida are wonderful! Must have Ida make you a few meals, the shrimp curry and creole with coconut rice was amazing! The area is quiet and peaceful. The lagoon mesmerizing, watching the manatees frolic. We even saw a sting ray come by one morning! The sunsets across the lagoon with the mountains were spectacular! Communication with Heather was extremely easy and she’s a gracious host! We had a wonderful time! Would highly recommend for couples or families!

Very welcoming atmosphere from the moment we entered. Everything was very well thought out even if you might forget something they think of it very great place to be and felt like home. I would book again when in placencia .

AMAZING FAMILY TIME!!
We had a marvelous time at Ophelia Villas, ideal location right at the lagoon! We went kayaking daily and caught some nice Snook! Kids enjoyed the pool, sooo much to do around this place! The views from this place are beyond what we expected .... especially the sunsets!! Will be back soon!!
