It was dirty and not enough silverware for a meal. Carpets were stained and floors were sticky. No info on where to put garbage so had to leave it tied up inside

Our girls trip was great in Wilmington! The loft is such a great location to walk right out the door and be in the middle of downtown and within walking distance of everything…. Riverfront, restaurants, and shopping. The loft itself is huge, much bigger than we expected and so comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious, and the pull out couch was very comfortable. While there was noise from the street, the fans in the room helped with that, and it’s expected with the downtown nightlife. Even though parking is not included, there is a pay lot that is right beside the building, parking was $12 per day, and that’s less than most hotels. We were able to stay parked and didn’t leave downtown the whole weekend since everything is within walking distance. We loved everything about the Loft and would highly recommend.

I've already provided this feedback via text but will also leave here. Upon check-in, we immediately saw that there was no toilet paper. We then discovered kitchen trash had not been removed and there was an oven mitt that was crusty and filthy. It took me until the last day of the trip to find ONE coffee pod which had been left in a small bucket full of cleaning supplies. There was dish soap leaking out in the bucket. All of these things made me question the general cleanliness of the entire loft. I was never quite comfortable and was disappointed with the quality overall. Bath towels were extremely thin and small. My husband commented that the wash clothes were more like paper towels because of how thin they were - he could see his hand through the wash cloth! Again, not Marriott quality. I don't know how AirBnB has managed sustaining their quality standards but I think Marriott should either depart this business sector or find ways to secure a better experience for their guests. Hey! I recommend this place for your next booking in Wilmington. Honestly I travel all over the place and once in a while there’s a home that has so much character to it that I just don’t want to leave! Take it from me this is the place! If you’re in Wilmington on business, pleasure or cheating on your spouse lol this place is the best kept secret! Book it and thank me later!

The location is great and the apartment is well decorated, even if the art is a bit far out. Only drawbacks are the onstreet parking and the tall, step stairs, that are poorly lighted.

We had two adult couples and two children and we never felt cramped. The apartment was very comfortable and felt more like a home than a hotel suite. Minor dings - no dishwasher, no free parking, fairly long and steep stairway leading up to apartment with no elevator. You can hear a little bit of street and nightlife noise on Friday and Saturday nights, but nothing a sound machine can’t handle. Our kids easily slept through it. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful loft! Music can get pretty loud at night well into the early hours. Bring noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs. Great location downtown close to all the shops and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere.

You can't beat this location if you are looking for a place in downtown Wilmington near the Riverwalk. It was perfect for a weekend, but would probably not be ideal for a longer stay. Unexpectedly comfortable sleeper sofa in the den. Felt very safe. Cons: Only one, small bathroom. No dishwasher. Living room furniture not that comfy and small. Not a con for us, but there is a very narrow, tall staircase that leads up to the loft. So, if you have any mobility issues, this won't work for you.

Attempted to try and choose another property to move to and we were denied. Could be a cute place if it was kept up.

Everything was amazing and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. There was a small hole in the wall behind the door that was there when I arrived aside from that it was perfect.

Came to town for a wedding nearby and this was a perfect spot. Lots of food choices, nightlife, and places for morning walks. Sat night was a bit loud outside, but we slept soundly after a walk on the town. Urban chic loft mixing old historic charm of the port city with easy comfort.

We enjoyed our stay. The place and host was great. Was a little confused on what to do with trash. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend location in the river district.

Clean and convenient spot downtown to everything. Loft is located next to a club so expect noise and it would be nice if the TVs mounted in bedrooms were smart TVs or at least connected to some sort of cable or apps like the smart TV located in the living room to block out the noise from outside.

Definitely recommend Karl’s place for a weekend stay. Location was great, spacious accommodations for 4, entry instructions simple and clear. Recycling and garbage instructions could be clearer.

Excellent location for exploring downtown Wilmington. Loft is artsy, comfy and fully equipped! Loved it!
