We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location really is top notch - beautiful marsh as your back yard with ocean views from the front of the property. You are just a few hundred feet from the ocean!!!
The home well stocked, pet friendly, and was very comfortable and spacious for the 5 adults and 2 kids we had.
Terry was a great communicator as the host. We look forward to returning!

What a beautiful spot! Very comfortable with space to spread out. Gorgeous views overlooking the marsh, as well as a clear view of the ocean out front. We hope to return!

The home is very spacious with lots of places to relax and the marsh views are beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and it was wonderful having a pantry. It was such fun playing ping pong in the air conditioned basement and cornhole outside. It is a short walk to the beach and there are chairs and an umbrella at the house. There were no issues. It was a perfect time for us. Terry responded quickly to any question I had. It was so nice of him to have paper products, hand soaps and detergents in the house when we arrived. I highly recommend Birds Eye View! We hope to stay there again. Terry, thank you for having your home on VRBO.

We couldn't have asked for a better house for our family! The house was super clean when we arrived, and the location was amazing! The marsh view from the back windows was beautiful, and the walk to the beach was very fast and easy. Our boys loved the ping pong table in the garage! The host, Terry was very fast to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed this property for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. The pictures are very accurate and you have a straight shot to the beach and a view of the marsh behind you. Terry was great to work with and we plan to stay again in the future.

Terry made our stay wonderful and was very responsive to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed! The area is perfect for a beach getaway. We loved this house and the many beautiful views it offered. We also loved we were able to bring our little weiner dogs! This was our first time in Oak Island and we will definitely be back!

We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this home was by far one of my favorites. It was an easy checkin and Terry was very easy to communicate with.
There was everything we needed to get us through until we went grocery shopping. Although the weather was very nasty we still enjoyed our visit. The ease of checkin and the short walk to the beach was short. We had plenty of room for all of us.
We would like to rent this home again.

Terry was an excellent and responsive host! The house and views were stunning and property well appointed and super clean. The space lent itself well to teens and grandparents alike- with common areas to connect for family time. It was an easy and quick walk to the beach- or simply step out on the deck for a beautiful view of the
marsh! We will be back!

The location is fantastic with amazing views from both decks, my parents loved bird watching on the marsh side, and we could keep an eye on the ocean from the front. Quick walk to the beach - easy and convenient. Off season is our favourite time of year.
The house is well equipped with cooking and technology, puzzles too! Terry was super responsive to questions and making sure we got in ok! Thanks for a great week.

We had 2 couples for a week and had an awesome time. The house had everything we needed and more. Owners were quick to respond to questions. Location was amazing. We enjoyed watching the cranes in the marsh

Bird's Eye View lived up to all my expectations. The owner was great to work with and always helpful. The house was extremely roomy for our family of 6 including two teenagers. Lots of areas for both personal space and spending time together. Loved the design and porches. Close to the beach and appreciated the extra beach chairs. Loved the coffee maker. My only suggestion is that the kitchen was a little short on cooking utinsels and accessories. Thanks for a geat week.

This house is as nice as it appears in the photos. The location was just perfect for us - short walk to the beach, and the beautiful and quiet bayou behind the house made this such a peaceful retreat for our vacation. Loved the open kitchen and views of the ocean from the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Owners were very easy to work with and were very quick to answer any questions that I had before and during our week's stay. The house had plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 girl teenagers (16-19). Loved all the extras at the house - sitting room upstairs in king room, private deck in upstairs queen room, extra mattresses if we had additional guests. Lots of kitchen items were provided. Additional room w/TV and furniture for kids. Furniture was very comfortable and we had plenty of seats/areas for everyone at the house. One suggestion would be to add hooks in the bathrooms and/or bedrooms to be able to hang towels, bathing suits, etc. Thanks for an awesome vacation at Oak Island!

Wonderful beach getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at Birds Eye View! The house exceeded our expectation with it cleanliness, space and views. There was plenty of room for 4 adults, 3 toddlers and 1 dog. The communication with the owner was top notch.

The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is more than adequately stocked with everything one could possibly need. Great location & plenty of room
Location was perfect with beach access just across a couple of front streets and only a short drive to grocery and restaurants. Area was quiet and not heavily trafficked.
The house itself was perfect for our family of five, with plenty of space for each person to spread out. The ping pong table in the basement was a huge hit with the kids, as was the outdoor shower.
Terry was probably one of the best & most communicative owners I’ve ever connected with on VRBO. Had a couple of questions for him before and early in the trip and not only was he quick to respond, he regularly followed-up to ensure our stay was exceeding our expectations.
I definitely have the tendency to overly plan all the specifics on choosing a house, and I can honestly say this house was perfect for what we needed. Overall awesome stay.

Wonderful trip!
My family and I love to be close to the beach but, cleanliness is our top priority. To find both was wonderful. This was the CLEANEST house that we have ever rented! We felt comfortable from beginning to end. There was plenty of space for our family of four. It was nice to be on the corner because you had a nice view of the beach and lots of privacy. The owner Terry was great to work with and reached out to make sure everything was going well with our visit. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location
We just spent a few days at Birds Eye View and it was the perfect location for our family vacation. Views of marsh and proximity to the beach was amazing! House was spacious, comfortable, and offered options for enjoying deck views from front and back of the house. Short walking distance to beach access. Host was responsive to any inquiries we had. We had one issue with the washer not in working condition, but the host was responsive and the problem was outside of his control at the time we were there. We preferred having laundry facilities when we booked the property, but overall we had a lovely stay and the location was perfect.
(House amenities list a blow dryer, but we did not find one. )

AMAZING HOME
This home is beautiful with all the island conveniences. We could see the ocean from the front windows and it was a one minute walk to the beach itself. The back view of the home brings privacy and a cool marsh scenery that we equally enjoyed. The home itself is extremely comfortable and the owners provided a lot of every day living items. The family room is cozy with a huge screen tv mounted on the white brick fireplace. The owners were super kind and friendly ready to make our stay the best. We highly recommend staying at the Birds Eye View on Oak Island.
