Hubby and I enjoyed our stay at this cute Ventura beach cottage. It was so nice to be steps from the beach and very close to the harbor. Home was comfy, clean and perfect for our weekend enjoying the boat light parade at the harbor.

The house was super set up! Great place to just relax wether you want a short walk to the beach or to just hang at the house. Would highly recommend to anyone. The host was super responsive and took care of everything!!! A+++

We enjoyed our stay at this cute newly updated beach house with a couch that pulls out to a bed in addition to two queen beds. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and east freeway access. Fun stuff for kids, basketball, foos ball, etc.

Perfect for a weekend. There were four of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the closeness to the beach and all the amenities. unit was clean and property manager was very attentive.

We have been renting summer houses in the Pierpont Lanes area, almost every summer, for 25 years now. Since we have stayed in the many different bungalows and large houses in the Lanes over that time, we are familiar with what one might reasonably expect when renting a bungalo here.
The house is super great. But the backyard is uninviting and disappointing. It’s all cement, no shade, just a table and chairs. It’s a great little fenced in area, a priority of mine because I have 2 little dogs. But even they didn’t want to spend time out there.
Many houses there are tiny, and a nicely done backyard to spend time in makes all the difference.
It has so much potential and would be wonderful with a simple fire feature, a couple tall potted trees, a barbecue, and some sail-type shading….it would make a huge impact. It would be perfect.

This was perfect for our quick beach getaway. Location was great - short drive to harbor and C Street surf. Walked to dinner and beach. Perfect size for our 3 adult family unit. Clean and well appointed for our needs.

We rented this home based on the photos on VRBO and that they take dogs. There is no back yard this property is a construction site with another home being built in the back yard and 2 open trenches in the back yard the full length. We left the next day David the owner understood. He & VRBO will not refund the 3 nights it has been since Dec. 28th trying to resolve this. No support we sent a check for 50% of 1 night and cleaning fee we didn't want to do this for free. The owner stopped communicating and VRBO says they can't do anything because we talked with the owner really sad this how they handle this. Have never had an issue in the past with renting from VRBO beyond disappointing.

Great location about 1 block from the beach. We also loved the front patio. For an older property, it delivers what you need. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. The main heater didn’t work, so we woke up cold on our first morning. We didn’t know about the space heaters in the closet until later. This was expensive for us, but the location is what you pay for.

We loved our stay at David’s place. It is completely updated and beautiful. It was so nice being on a dead end street that ends at a private beach entrance. There were beach towels and toys for the kids. We would definitely visit again, if we make it back to the west coast.

Living in SoCal, we wanted a beach house in Ventura where we could drive to, spend a few days enjoying the surf, the local restaurants and just be together as a family. This was the perfect place. Clean, spacious and great amenities with even a small game room for the teens. Highly recommend. David was a great host too!

Perfect location…walk to beach and restaurants! Everything you need for a great beach day is available from beach cruisers to a wagon, chairs, umbrella and sand toys. We enjoyed our stay and will come again!

The beach house is well stocked situated in a great location. It was clean and simply but nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and sleeping arrangements fit our group of two adults and 3 teens. It was also nice to have a Netflix account with the large flat screen TV for night time entertainment. Back yard space was good but they are in process of eventually adding a cottage at the back so that space was in transition. Front yard is also good and quite nice. Also a plus that there are two beach cruiser bikes that they provide for guests. Only downside was no backyard grill (but that was workable with oven broiler) and a few more drought-tolerant plants in the yard space would help yard space ambiance, otherwise you really couldn’t ask for more in a Ventura Beach vacation rental.

When we arrived at this adorable Beach House it was Dark out, however it was so easy to park and unload our car. Easy entrance and so excited to see that the property looked exactly as it did in the listing pictures! We found the space just exactly what we needed and we enjoyed the coffee in the morning as we took a stroll on the beach that was just steps from this property. So glad we stayed there. There was so much to do and such an easy property to get to. The community was so great! Both the cute businesses as well as the neighbors! Can’t wait to get here again soon!!! When we arrived at this adorable Beach House it was Dark out, however it was so easy to park and unload our car. Easy entrance and so excited to see that the property looked exactly as it did in the listing pictures! Great place
My grandsons and I loved this place. Mostly our bike rides to the “pirate ship” beach but also they rode their bikes (they live locally and stayed with me here for the week) on the beach at sunset (275 steps to the beach), played in the game room and walked to Surf-n-Yogurt every night. Already reserved a return trip.

Cute and cozy
Cute house, close to the beach, clean, updated, and a large backyard for activities. Foosball table was fun, as well as basketball arcade game, and cornhole. We had a great time and there was surprisingly enough parking on the property.

The property was very clean. Very cute remodeled beach bungalow. Perfect getaway. The property doesn't have a BBQ. This would have been a great feature for the backyard. We love to BBQ. Otherwise, perfect!

The house was super cute and clean with everything needed including things for the beach such as towels, umbrellas, and bikes were provided. Property owner was super nice and on top of communication to make sure everything was ok for us the entire trip. Great location as the beach is easily accessed and just a short walk down the street from the house. Our group was super happy with the whole experience and we definitely would like to come back as soon as we can. Highly recommend for a fun weekend on a beautiful beach !

Great location... easily accessible (walking and driving) to restaurants, sites, night life, and the freeway! House is minimally and simplistically decorated, but in a cute, cottage-feel way! One quirky thing is that not all of the windows opened and seemed to be painted shut. There were fans in the house, but there was a nice ocean breeze flowing through so we didn't really need them. The owners even left a gift for us to take home!

This property is perfect for a friendly California coast getaway. The house is modern, stylish; thoughtfully equipped and comfortable. The beach is literally steps away and gorgeous. Combine that with an adorable downtown a short Uber away and you have everything you need to leave the world behind. Kudos to the hosts, SERIOUSLY!
