Chalet was stocked with snacks,coffee,supplies,toiletries.I have never stayed where you didnt need anything except clothes to stay! Patrick is excellent with service and communication.He strives to be sure everything is top notch for your stay.There asre bears that visit almost daily so as he says be sure you keep your car locked.House was clean and up to date with decor.Will probably do a repeat stay at this one,it is all you want for a mountain stay.Pellet grill,fire pit,pool table,skeeball,arcade game,foosball.All tv's are wifi smart tv's as well.I have been doing rentals in gatlinburg for around 30 years and it is hard to give this one as good of a review as it deserves.Best I have found to date.The week was perfect.Thank you so much Patrick for above and beyond service.

Our family spent a long weekend in Gatlinburg. The house was exactly as described. Communication with Patrick was outstanding, from the initial booking all the way to checkout. Our kids enjoyed the game room when we were not out exploring. The roads were much steeper than we planned, but after a day we got the hang of it.

It was a nice relaxing weekend. The house is very relaxing. I loved that the day of Patrick reached out to let us know when we could go in the house in case the cleaning was done early enough. We would stay there again.

Great views. Treturous roads especially at night! Game room was awesome, got to see a few bears, beautiful sunrises. Two of the three beds were like sleeping on a board. The rooms upstairs were a little warm since no overhead fans. Took a couple of days to figure the hot/cold temps were switched in main floor shower! Could never get the key out of the key lock box. All minor issues but had a great time

Very nice place, great views, bear visits, outstanding communication with owner, definitely would recommend. There were 4 of us, two teenage boys and us. Fun game room downstairs was great in the late evenings.

We decided last minute to go on a vacation with my kids and MIL!! This place was perfect! We were provided with everything we needed and more! We even got visited almost every morning and night by mama bear and her adorable cubs! The highlights were the open spa shower and the gaming room downstairs! The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and the beds were so comfortable! The only problem with thing that would make it better would be an air fryer :) we will bringing ours with us next time! It was so amazing and booking was so easy! That we are already planning our next stay! Can’t wait to see it in fall! Book it now you won’t regret it! The view is so perfect to wake up too and enjoy with your morning coffee!

This was a comfortable house and a great place to enjoy views and bears it was clean and the owner kept in touch with us making sure we had everything we needed even gave us a heads up on our travel day of the weather over all great experience would definitely recommend this house for any of my family and friends

Patrick was extremely accommodating before and throughout our stay. We were able to check in several hours early, which was great! We were so excited and eager to see a bear. When we pulled up to the cabin we were literally greeted by a bear within minutes. Great start! There were many more visits to follow throughout the week. So peaceful up in the mountains, the views were amazing! The many drives up and down the mountain to and from the cabin were slightly terrifying but also very cool. Got a little more comfortable each time. I was the passenger, not sure I could do it myself but I sure hope to make the drive (or ride) up again someday! Highlights from our trip: bears, bears, bears, jumping off a cliff and swimming at The Sinks, Dollywood (very nice amusement park).

If you want to see bears, this is the place! Seen 11 bears Saturday. A total of 14 different bears. Seen a mom with 2 cubs, a mom with 3 cubs, and a mom with 4 cubs. Seen 2 smaller/younger males and one big ole boy. One suggestion for future guests, I would not eat out on the upper patio/porch (because of the amount of bear visits). The place was everything as advertised. Clean, quiet, peaceful. We had no issues UNTIL WE STARTED TO LEAVE (and none of it had to do with Patrick or his very nice cabin). So check out was at 11am. We were packed up & ready to leave at 10:45am. Last thing to do was take the trash out. My daughter is loading her last two bags in her car, and I'm taking trash out. Take one bag out to container (and didn't relock the container because I was coming right back with another bag). In the time it took to walk back to the cabin (less than 30 seconds) and grab the other bag of trash, a momma bear and 3 cubs show up. They startled me & my daughter, she slams her door closed and we both run back in the cabin. It's at this point my daughter realizes she just locked her keys in her car. After 30 minutes or so the bears finally leave. I clean the mess they made up, and contacted Patrick (owner) and told him our situation. Patrick shows up & helps me call EVERY locksmith & tow company in Sevier County. No luck. We decide to break the rear door glass on my daughter's car with the help of Patrick (owner). Patrick was awesome! An experience we'll never forget.

Patrick made our stay at his property extremely easy and nothing short of perfection. We did not even have to ask for anything because he was in contact with me the entire time. Check in was smooth and so was check out. The view was gorgeous and the game room in the basement is a fantastic touch, especially if it’s raining. My wife, family and friends had a wonderful time. I 100% recommend Patrick and his home for your vacation in the mountains.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking out at the beautiful scenery and watching the tram go by. The house was very clean and fully stocked with whatever we needed. The adults, as well as the kids, totally enjoyed the game room downstairs. There are so many games to pick from. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Patrick is a wonderful host. Very friendly. He was always quick to respond to all my questions. We're were also able to get early check in. Oh, and the Mama Bear and her 3 cubs was the cutest thing we've ever seen. We will definitely be staying there again.

The Chalet Village was a fun adventure. My family had not been to the Smoky Mountains. Lots of fun with great views and visits from a black bear family. We took advantage of the included passes for some tennis and swimming. The game room in the lower level was a hit as well!

This vacation home was amazing & had something for everyone. We were hoping to see some bears & we're not disappointed. I think we saw at least 13 bears at house & in neighborhood during our stay, including a mom & her 3 cubs.

We enjoyed this place greatly! We saw bears almost every day! Which made the stay even more enjoyable. The house was super cute and comfortable. We loved all the games in the basement. We enjoyed grilling. We actually will be ordering a smoker because the food was amazing cooking on it! The drive up was a bit scary at first, but you got comfortable the more you rode on it. So, if you are worried don’t be! You’ll be a pro in a couple of days! You must see the gnome house. It’s a short walk from the house, but my kids loved seeing it! We used the pool as well and enjoyed the amenities of that! It was a short drive from the house. We also loved the views! It was such a great vacation spot! Thanks for having us!

Fantastic three-level home perched up high! Centrally located in the Gatlinburg area allowing for easy travel to the east and west sides of the park. Our teens enjoyed the game room in the basement and we cooked several meals in the kitchen. Great spot for a vacation!

Patrick was a great host--very attentive, willing to let us check in early, and quick to respond to messages. The mountain views are gorgeous, the location is great, and the beds are all comfy. We also enjoyed the basement game room. However, there was an ant problem in the upstairs bathroom that got worse during our stay. We let the host know, and he plans to call an exterminator, but it was still an issue for us. Overall, the house was comfortable but somewhat dated and quirky-- bedroom doors don't close all the way, exposed screws in the dresser, hard to find the right light switches, etc. (Also, while it's true that you could drive to Ober Gatlinburg and take their tram into town to avoid traffic, tickets are $29 per person!)

There was 6 of us. 2 of us from Indiana and 4 visitors from Iceland. We met 2 young men in 2018 at a baseball game in Indiana when one came to the US to have surgery to remove a 6 pound tumor from his chest (The full story can be read by doing a search of “Iceland, cancer, Indians” in a google search. We took them in to our home and became their American parents during that time. This was a beautiful reunion where one of the young men brought his girlfriend (now his fiancé after this trip) and his parents to the US to vacation with us. The one thing the Icelanders were most excited about was the possibility of seeing the bears since they do not have them in Iceland. We were not disappointed! We saw a female and her 3 cubs on two of the mornings and another bear on our last morning. It was a comfortable place with a beautiful view. We would highly recommend it. The owner was very accommodating and attentive.

This property has great views and all of the amenities that you could want including a game room with pool, electronic games, darts, foosball, and others. It has a multiple grills, a wood pellet and a regular charcoal grill. It also has a gas fire pit which makes a cool evening very inviting with a gorgeous view. I will definitely stay here again.

My children and I spent this past week visiting Gatlinberg|Smokey Mountains, staying in this beautiful home. Views were magnificent, plenty of room for myself and 4 kids (22, 14, 12 & 11.) We spent a lot of time hiking and taking in the mountains, and coming home to the clean, cozy chalet was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked, clean and plenty of room. Beds super comfy, plenty of clean linens and loved taking showers in the bathroom on the main level. The game room downstairs is complete with a pool table, pac man, skee ball, darts, Xbox, fuse ball and more. My kids a lot spent time at night down there, lots of fun. At the core of the home is it’s host Patrick, who by far surpassed any host I’ve experienced. Almost immediate responses to my many questions, knowledge of the area and obvious dedication to hosting a Vrbo rental made this vacation the perfect experience it was. If you are like me and searching through and reading hundreds of reviews before selecting , I can assure you won’t regret stopping your search here!

Fantastic stay. Chalet had everything you could possibly need. The host went out of his way to accommodate us. Grandkids loved the gameroom.

The house was a great spot for a family vacation. We enjoyed the view from high up the mountain. The house sleeps 6 just fine. We played games and sat by the fireplace. A short drive down the mountain gets you to Gatlinburg and a nice nature trail. We hope to return in the future.
