Great location, we had nice evening with the music on the terrace with the lighthouse near to hotel. The breakfest was great, especially before going to Elba.

elevator was slow and very small, needed pressing finger on button to keep it running, however better than climbing stairs with luggage and it did the job.

The location is superb. The building was externally pleasant. Located in a pedestrian area but with convenient parking on display of a paper available from the hotel. Proximity to good restaurants especially the Dei Boncompagni about 80 meters away.

The space was cramped with hardly enough space to rest the computer on and work. I bit noisy.

Albergo Italia was simple in decor with a very tasteful atmosphere. The bed put me to sleep. The bathroom was appointed well including a bidet and a powerful shower in its own spacious compartment. Room 10 had a small study, bedroom with under top refrigerator and the large bathroom. The feeling was of a different era in a large space that was actually compact. I would stay there whenever I return to beautiful Piombino. Oh, the location I easy to find and quietly surrounded by restaurants and shops. And the staff were amiably professional.

I can’t think of anything to dislike about my time there.
