My family and I really enjoyed our stay at HolyTree cottage, its a really beautiful characterful place. I was little concerned on arrival as the building looks small from the outside but its actually really spacious, we're a family of three with a dog so there was a bedroom left over and there was more than enough room for us in all the other living areas. The property itself was really easy to find located in the centre of the village and check into and we'd happily go there again.Only thing we say is that the yard doubles as your car parking space, as when you park in it, which you'll need to, the yard basically disappears which initially I thought could have been a problem with the dog, however Hook Norton is small surrounded by lovely walks, and there is a small park literally 2 minutes up the road which was perfect so the lack of yard space really was no issue at all.I noted the communication with owner as poor as I asked a question about check-in times I didn't get a response to, but that could well have been a one off or an issue in the App. Really lovely little place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Stunning property, great location, perfect base for exploring the area.

This property is very well-equipped for guests with WiFi, cookware and utensils, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine etc etc. The shower and bath facilities are excellent and the bedrooms are spacious. Everything is in very good working order. The property is prone to damp because of its original design, so use of the provided fans is advised. The off-street parking is tight, but a car is advised to explore the surrounding area if you wish to travel elsewhere. The shop and pubs are within walking distance and the local people are very friendly and obliging. We would definitely return and highly recommend this property to others!
