Stayed in this spotless brand new home for a family reunion/90th bday. Beds, linens and couch were so comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and the kitchen seemed well supplied, although we did not use it. The owners provided all the necessities to get us through the 4 days which was great. There is a wonderful park around the corner and the house had easy access to downtown Hanford. This is a new subdivision and there is contruction all around the property, so there was noise during the day, but the owners were absolutely up front about this and it did not bother us. Parking and check in/check out were easy and owners had great communication.

Spiderwebs everywhere! From the moment you walk up to the property to when you lay on the beds. I found dead spiders in the sheets in master and one of the bunk beds. Thankfully, my husband and I always shake linens and beds off before letting the family lay down. The owners thankfully provided coffee, but unfortunately the creamers were all expired. I know it was a complimentary, but if you’re going to offer please make sure the items are edible. Otherwise the area was in great location. Close by and walking distance to downtown Hanford. Especially Superior Dairy!

Stayed with my daughters and grandkids. The house is older and very nicely kept. Everything we needed and lots of space for the kids. Nice porch to sit and relax and drink morning coffee which was conveniently provided. We enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend.

Booked this house since the location was close to our family’s house. We got to spend thanksgiving with our family and come back to enjoy the festivities near down town. This was the perfect location. Near everything we needed. We will definitely book next time we are back in town.

We had occasion to visit Hanford to see our son who is stationed at NAS Lemoore for Family Day. Hanford is a nice city with lots to offer for restaurants, bars, and the charm of a smaller large city. The house is in the heart of the city near to shopping and the highways to see the greater Central Valley no matter your destination. Wineries, National Parks, Naval Station, etc. are all easily within driving distance. We loved staying at the Charming Craftsman! The house is beautifully and carefully appointed. Updated and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and refreshments ready to go. The gas stove was a plus as we prefer to cook with gas. A full-sized refrigerator and freezer (even had ice in it!) and plenty of pots, pans, plates and glassware to accommodate a family. Our hosts made sure that we were welcomed which made traveling from the Midwest less stressful. They definitely care about their guests! This house has two bathrooms which made it more accommodating for three adults (our younger son is 20). The Craftsman charm was retained in the updating of the bathrooms to accommodate showers and bathing. There is a windowed front porch with comfortable seating to enjoy a cup of coffee in the early morning hours to enjoy the sunrise or to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. Each of the bedrooms was comfortable, quiet, and we slept well after busy days! What made our stay extra special was our hosts. Josephine was responsive to anything we needed. She definitely is engaged in making sure her guests are comfortable and taken care of. Should we find ourselves visiting Hanford/Lemoore again, we will definitely stay at the Charming Craftsman again!

Great hosts that have taken incredible care of this bungalow. You can tell the hosts have taken great pride in their home and in the community. During my three day stay, I really appreciated the stocked coffee bar, the cozy bed, the tidy kitchen and baths. When I got in for the first time, I didn't give the host a heads up when I would arrive so the AC wasn't on but I turned it on and it was comfortable on a hot July day within a few hours. If you don't want to set it and kill some time in town while the property cools, make sure to let the hosts know to turn on the A/C.

This was a great place to stay. We will book this home again in the future. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the decore was great. The bunk beds were a fun idea but the top bunk has no rail and we were concerned about our child falling off the top bunk so that bed option was out for us. We still had plenty of room for our family of 4 (kids age 2-6) and we were very comfortable. Something to consider with an older home is that the outlets are spaced far apart or only have 1 per room. Make sure to bring a long charging cable. Overall we were very pleased with this house. The check in/check out process was simple and communication with the renters was easy.
