Mountain Spirits 218 has some pros and cons. Pros - Property is exactly as pictured. The management company (Resort Properties of Angel Fire) was great to work with and very attentive. The condo is clean. The location is good. Not ski in/ski out but at the base of the mountain and is a walkable distance to the ski lift if you don't mind a slight uphill walk. The covered parking on the ground level is nice. Affordable unit. Cons: There was a nauseating, AWFUL sulfur smell when we tried to shower the first night. We called the management company and were to told to let the hot water tank drain and it should be solve the problem. It did, but was not very appealing to shower in. There is no washer and dryer in the unit. Only one washer and dryer per floor which you have to download an app and pay for. The WiFi was not existent which was problematic because my husband needed to turn in a huge report for work. Again, the management company (Resort Properties of Angel Fire) tried to come and fix it with no luck. They allowed my husband to come and use the W-Fi in their lobby. The couch and bunk beds are are uncomfortable. Unfortunately, none of our kids sleep well during our stay. The building and unit are a bit dated.
