My family and I were in town for a wedding. This house was convenient to everything in Beaufort. Beautiful water views. I must leave an honest review and prepare others for their stay though. This house swayed very badly. So much so our 18 y/o woke up in the middle of the night crying. There was 6 of us and we all felt it, especially when sleeping and using the bathroom. I would like to think the owners and/or property manager are aware of this, but we were not. As long as you're okay with rocking at night and feeling like you're on a boat in the middle of the ocean, you should be fine.

We had a wonderful time. We love to fish and we carried our boat so we put it in several times in different locations. Downtown Beaufort and Morehead city is just minutes away as is many restaurants and grocery stores as well so everything was very accessible. The house was well decorated for the beach vibe and the air worked very well and that in its self was a blessing to me as I can be very hot natured The neighbors were quite and the place was very peaceful. We stood out on the deck everyday watching the tide come in and go back out and watched many many different birds searching for food with the moving tides We could watch the sun rise over the water through the glass doors or on the deck with morning coffee and my only complaint would be that we needed more time there Although nothing to do with the house but the fees I felt were a little high compared to some others but that’s the way it goes I suppose but I would stay again sometime and I hope we can

The property is great as always. Always clean and all the things you needed for a family vacation. The fishing in the backyard is always a plus. Check in and out is always smooth and never had an issue during our stays.

My family had a wonderful stay at the property. This is a great place to stay for a quiet, peaceful retreat and was only 10 minutes away from downtown Beaufort. Far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the Sound's natural habitats, close enough to the towns and cities to enjoy local restaurants and the beaches. Would definitely return to this spot.

We loved our stay! It was perfect. Very quiet area. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed (towels, washcloths, pillows, blankets) to have an enjoyable week vacation. The host was very pleasant to communicate with. If you needed anything she was a phone call or text away. Definitely will book again next year.

My husband, dog, and I had a great stay at this home. It's a beautiful house right on the river. The view is absolutely incredible from almost all directions. The house was clean and smelled incredible when we arrived. There were towels and linens in all the room, cable tv, every cooking item (pans, pots, utensils, etc) you could need. We loved sitting out on the deck watching the river, especially all the water birds in the marsh. My husband used the grill several times, it worked great. There are several good local food places nearby, it's also very near the shore/ocean. We drove about 20 mins to Fort Macon and visited the beach, which was beautiful. The owner was very responsive to messages and answered all our questions. All in all a great place for a peaceful, relaxing trip. Our dog loved it, too!

This property was all that it was described to be and more. Immaculate and perfectly located with great views. we were torn about spending time on excursions or dining out or just sitting on the deck and taking in a great view. Property manager was responsive friendly and committed to our having a great time. A fabulous host. this is a can't miss opportunity.

WOW, is just one way to describe this amazing get away from home!! Everything is as described but even better. The home is extremely clean, smelled wonderful and cozy. Double car-port was great for us because there was 2 couples. The view from the upstairs porch or sitting under the carport was calming and gorgeous!! The kitchen was fully stocked also if you want to cook like we did. You can fish in the canal right at the house and YES I caught one!!! Emily the Owner was super sweet, communicated with me the whole time I was there. If I could rate this VRBO a 10 I would!!!!!

Our entire group could not say more positive things for this home! The host was incredibly hospitable, kind, and accommodating, she is extremely flexible and her attitude was unlike anything I've ever experienced with staying at a place like this. The house was immaculate and the perfect size for our group and LOCATION was everything! Extremely close to downtown beaufort and all the restaurants. And the scenery here was breathtaking from the early mornings to late nights I cannot wait to stay back here! Thank you so so much Amy for hosting our group!

Lovely home on the water. Very comfortable. Great location near beaches and fishing pier. Well stocked kitchen. Kids had fun fishing and crabbing from the yard. Absolutely beautiful view of the Sound from the deck. Quiet neighborhood. Dog friendly+

Beautiful home with a lovely view!
What a nice getaway. Close drive to food and fun but needed quiet away from the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return in the future. Was just right for two families with small children. Loved the view and open floor plan. Thanks for having us!

The house was perfect for the 6 of us. The boys loved fishing in the canal. The view is fantastic and location was great! It was 10 minutes to ferries and restaurants. Grocery stores were convenient. The decor was very nice also. The host was very helpful and very responsive! Thank you.

First of all, the evening sky from the deck is the most peaceful sight! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was within 10 minutes of the wedding venue which made it very convenient. The house was clean and very nice and cool inside on arrival. Really nothing more we could ask for!!

This is our second stay in this house. We love how quiet it is, and we love the view of the water and the marsh. I do bird photography so it's perfect for me. The house is nice too--it's set up with a lot of thought to what people need on vacation. The kitchen is clean and well outfitted--I made our Easter dinner there, included some baking. We love the porch/deck, and had our little happy hour out there every evening, We were able to put kayaks in at the little grassy boat ramp behind the house (if the tide is up--there isn't enough water at low tide). A great spot!

Such a cute house in a great location. The house is only minutes from downtown Beaufort and Morehead City. The views are beautiful and the house is in a quiet area. The hostess, Emily, was super friendly and so accommodating. It was nice to have so many things included with the house. We will definitely choose this house again when we come back to the area.

The house is comfortable, decorated with a beachy theme in pleasant relaxing colors. The bed is super comfortable and the kitchen is set up well for various cooking projects. Everything you need is there! I think there is a TV in every room, if you're into that. If not, look out the window and watch the ibises fly by.

We stayed at this house over New Years. It's a lovely place. It's outside of Beaufort (about a ten minute drive) which we enjoyed--it was very peaceful. The view through almost all the windows is of the marsh and the open water beyond, with egrets and herons fishing. Lovely sunrises too.

All of the previous reviews are correct. The street is quiet and the hostess is by far top notch. This rental house has more cookware than our own house! We were able to bring our boat and pets. The yard is beautiful. I’m already looking at buying the same master bed. The location is just minutes from Beaufort, Morehead City, and the beaches. This is our number ONE!

The owner couldn't be nicer, providing complimentary coffee and laundry/dishwasher pods. Also, we ran into a minor technical issue related to internet connectivity and she helped us resolve it immediately. Additional pluses are the new televisions with access to NetFlix, Disney Plus, etc. and the super comfortable beds.
We highly recommend this house and plan to stay again.

Spacious and comfortable
Wonderful home that is quiet and private but exactly a 7 minute drive to Beaufort Historic district, spelled bars and restaurants. Perfect for our Open Water Scuba Certification training weekend at Discovery Dive Center. We will be back for another stay in a few weeks to complete the open water dives. Thanks for everything.
