Eco Hotel Cueva del Gato

Such a beautiful small hotel in a beautiful location. Had a real personal vibe about it

The only issue was the keys. You unlock the room via a link and the link either wasn’t working or the Internet was down on a few occasions

Blissfully calm and a lovely space away from mass tourism . Loved eating out on the terrace with pretty lights and a very special ambiance.

The walk from the pool to the bar but maybe in the busier times the upper area would be open.

Location is lovely and remote, great for switching off, rooms are big and in keeping of the old farmhouse style. Comfortable beds and fully working aircon. The pool is nice.

The property drive is quite difficult to find and I wouldn't recommend arriving in the dark. The rooms didn't feel particularly clean, the staff were nice but service was slow. Breakfast was ok, but not a lot of choice and the room where it is served was uninviting. We did unfortunately had an issue with dinner service and waited 2 hours to be told the kitchen couldn't produce hot food due to a gas leak, this was nobody's fault but communication could have been better. Overall I am disappointed with my stay, the whole place looks a little tired/unfinished and is definitely not worth the price I paid.
