The cabin was wonderful! The whole process was smooth. The host manager was wonderful to work with. The cabin was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the amenities. It was nice being close to everything.

The home was in a decent location, centrally located to many attractions. For the price we paid/week, I thought the home would be much nicer inside. The fenced-in yard is great if you have dogs.

Great property with lots of amenities and a fenced yard if you have a furry friend or two. Loved the downstair game room and bar and enjoyed a few dips in the Hot tub despite 10 degree F weather over Christmas. That weather deterred more outside activity, although father-in-law and brother-in-law still scaled Chimney Rock, of which there is a spectacular view. It's a steep approach to the house however so in actual snow or ice it would be a challenge, good 4-wheel drive then essential. The yard thus also drops away very steeply too. Great set up for our party of six though and good time had by all once we'd just resolved a few difficulties with the zonal heating system for the middle floor that contains two of the bedrooms. Would be fabulous in Spring or Fall, dubious in very warm weather or, as I already said, in snowy conditions. Would certainly consider going again.

This is our second year back! We love this house and the views! Hot tub is great for our group of 6! We are already planning next year's trip!

The house is well equipped, easy to find, close to lake, restaurants, activities but tree-line keeps private. Large deck with view of Chimney Rock and gorge. Lower level with pool table, air hockey table, tv, bedroom full bath, laundry. Fenced yard is great for dogs, but may be steep for young children. Highly recommend, would rent again.

The fire pit after getting new gas tank still didn’t work. Based on online listing we weren’t prepared for all the steps they were extreme. Also listed master on main which wasn’t accurate. My husband has some health issues so he was unable to enjoy master suite to many stairs Other wise we enjoyed

we really liked this cabin. the layout was perfect for our group, and fenced in back yard was great for the dogs. We would stay here again.

Very nice stay
We do Lake Lure every 4th. This home is very convenient to everything. So much so that we could see the July 4th fireworks held at the beach at the home. Although it was actually the 3rd. That was fantastic. Also saw a black bear walking down the side yard. We enjoyed ourselves.

FABULOUS!
This was a great house! Just as pictured! We do an annual girls get away, and this was best so far! The 10 person hot tub was a huge hit! We can't wait to come back next year!

We made a very last minute trip and stayed here. Jamie was unbelievably accommodating and really worked hard to make the last minute stay happen. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Unlike most rental homes there was a decent amount of stocked pantry items which proved super helpful as we didn’t remember to bring everything we needed. The hot tub was a hit for the kids and we loved the close proximity to Lake Lure. The only negative thing I could say was that it’s not right on the lake and therefore we didn’t have lake views. That said the view of chimney rock from the top of the house was beautiful.
