Phyllis’ property was awesome! We came to Swannanoa to have Christmas with family. We not only had plenty of room for us but living room, kitchen, and dining room were spacious enough that we had Christmas and all other get together with family there. We came with 6 and my family from there was 6 so for Christmas we had 12 people. The open floor plan allowed for people to be in living room and dining room and still feel together. We enjoyed playing games and hanging out. Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there, not like some places where there is the bare minimum. We would be happy to return and stay again.

It was nice to have two kitchens with a group of 10 people. I would recommend only having 8 people in this space. The view and outdoor space was really nice. Best location! Property owner was very accomdating.

The home fit our family very comfortably. The property owners were easy to communicate with. We especially enjoyed the view on the back patio of the mountains.

Phyllis & Dave have a lovely home which thoughtfully seems to have anything one would need for a stay. We had two families staying, for which the up-and-down design was perfect. The patio, backyard, and horses added great ambience. Perfect location for our trips into Black Mountain and Asheville! Obviously a lot of work and care was put into this home, and when we are back in the area, we will hope to stay again.

Right away the outside property was well maintained with a beautiful view on backside of property . Plenty of covered outdoor sitting and a fire pit!
Inside the home was spotless and felt like home. Every room equipped with everything you need! We hope to stay at this home again!!

We needed to be in Asheville for a lacrosse tournament. This home was a better value than 2 hotel rooms with the bonus of a full kitchen. Property was very clean and fully stocked with what we needed, plenty of beds, pillows, blankets and towels, tvs in every room, etc. Check in was easy and the owners were very friendly and quick to respond. We will definitely book here again for future tournaments.

Took family member who's visiting from Dublin, Ireland to Biltmore Estate with other family members from Florida. The place was only 10-15 min drive to the Estate. The property is big enough for 6 of us and it has everything you'll need.

This property is amazing it has everything that you may need . Quiet neighborhood and 15 min away from biltmore estates and downtown Asheville. Everything else is relativd close. I will highly recommend this property

From start to finish this property and the owners surpassed our expectations! Communication with them was superior and working with our schedule was a priority to them. So clean, unique, comfortable, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Plus a gorgeous view of the mountains

Awesome place to stay. Super short trip into downtown Asheville. The house was super clean and had more than enough amenities to keep us comfortable. The view in the backyard was just the cherry on top.

This property was better than described online. Super clean, everything one could need at ones fingertips, beautiful and large outdoor covered space so if you have weather as nice as ours you never have to be inside. We could not have been more comfortable. The downstairs was fully appointed, as well, allowing early risers to have coffee and relax before the later crew got up. Just perfect and the view of the mountains from the patio was the constant “icing on the cake”.

We had a great time on our Family Holiday trip to the Asheville area. The accommodations were wonderful. House is spacious, comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for everybody. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great location between Black Mountain and Asheville. Really enjoyed the music selections too. Can't wait till our next trip. We'll be back !!

Swannanoa Home
This house is nicely maintained and incredibly well stocked. It worked perfectly for our family Thanksgiving get together with the bedrooms on two floors and additional kitchen on the lower level. Located very close to Asheville, this place made it easy to get to sights like the Biltmore and Chimney Rock. We loved the bear theme and beautiful murals on the outside walls. Phyllis and David were very responsive when we forgot an item, and they sent it to us right away. Thanks for an enjoyable time.

Two almost separate living spaces with full kitchens and baths that even had separate drive ways with entry to the house. Clean bedding and towels on every bed, kitchens stocked with coffee and all the utensils ever needed! There is a large covered outdoor space with lots of patio furniture and amazing view of the mountains, a charming red barn, as well as horses. Was also just a hop and a skip away from Asheville. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Two families could enjoy a getaway together, but separate at the same time with the upstairs and the downstairs. For those that enjoy adult beverages, the Oak & Grist Distillery is less than 3 miles away and was a fun outing. We will be back.
