Points loss for cleanliness due to random towels being left strewn about the cottage upon our arrival, as well as balled up bed linens that we had no idea if were clean or not.
Host was contacted about grill propane tank being empty, after we purchased steaks for dinner. Asked if there were spares anywhere, did not get a reply until days after our check out, when host had been replying promptly before this.
Also had strange woman show up as we were checking in to get a drawer full of prescription medications from a drawer that was accidentally left behind by previous renter. No explanation from host.

I had an amazing experience staying at this small cottage! The location is absolutely stunning, with easy access to Flagstaff Lake and Sugarloaf. The highlight of my stay was definitely the hot tub, which provided a perfect blend of romance and relaxation in the serene surroundings. I was delighted to spot deer while soaking in the tub, truly immersing myself in the beauty of nature.
Moreover, the check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient. Overall, I highly recommend this Vrbo home for anyone seeking a peaceful and enchanting getaway.

This was our second stay at one of Sherri’s properties and both were excellent! They are clean and well stocked with every essential you can think of. Sherri is always quick to answer any questions as well. Would highly recommend any property of Sherri’s!

Very quiet little spot, the hot tub was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. There are alot of great restaurants in the area!

We stayed at this home for a weekend getaway, but could have easily stayed here much longer. Not only will you be very comfortable inside the home. The outside living and amenities, was just as comfortable.
The home was very clean, and is probably one of the most well appointed homes, my wife and I have ever reserved on VRBO. Other than food or alcohol, if they didn't stock it, you don't need it.
Sherri, our host was very attentive and responsive to our needs.
The location was perfect for all nearby attractions, 1 minute to the lake access, 5 minutes to a restaurant or grocery store, 15 minutes to Sugarloaf skiing etc..
I couldn't have enjoyed this home, any more than we would have in our own home😀

This was a nice quiet spot to stay near Flagstaff Lake. We enjoyed being close to the lake, walking into Stratton for dinner and being close to great hiking.

We enjoyed this central location to the activities that the area had to offer. We really enjoyed the hot tub. We did have to trailer our UTV down the road to the park and ride to use it.

Really nice little cabin near the lake. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed the stay. Clean and quiet it was everything we expected.
Will stay here again to experience the other seasons in the Carrabassett valley.

This cottage was very clean and had everything we needed from a crockpot to a hot tub to many choices for sleeping accommodations. It was much bigger than I expected. Watching the wildlife was a great bonus!

We had a great stay. The location was close to Sugarloaf, which made our ski days more fun. A nice cozy place to head back to after a ski day. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub while star gazing; very peaceful and quiet.

My fiance and I had just done a week at Sunday River with our Ski Club and we figured we should check out Sugar Loaf. We needed a nice place for the two of us to stay near by that was affordable yet provided comfort, peace and quiet and romantic. Sherri's place was perfect. We can wait to come back next year!

Highly recommend this spot and hope to go back soon. The cottage and all amenities were clean and functioning, as well as comfortably furnished and decorated. While the primary bed was a bit small for my 6’2 husband, it was a very comfortable mattress and we slept great. Deer and various wildlife visited throughout the day and provided some hot tub entertainment. The owner kindly stopped by at our arrival to ensure we had additional paper products, linens, cleaning supplies, and anything else we might need, was very pleasant to work with. Thanks to Sherri for such a great job hosting!

Booked this bc boyfriend coaches ski racing and didn’t want to make the 3+ hour drive event day and night. It was very nice. Deer and turkeys all day long the hot tub was very nice after a long day at Sugarloaf. Would definitely book again!!

During our stay we had 30 inches of snow. As you can imagine it made skiing at Sugarloaf so fun!
The cabin is so cute, everything you need is there. The hot tub is perfect after a long day on the slopes.

We had a great stay with our dogs and baby! We stayed for 2 weeks while my husband was working in the area. The house was great, very cozy and homey. We loved having the hot tub in the evening, saw deer and lots of beautiful birds everyday in the yard. The views along the road are beautiful! And the location is great for grabbing groceries, breakfast, dinner or hitting sugarloaf! We would definitely stay here again!

We went to Sherri's place to have a quiet, relaxing and peaceful getaway for the weekend and it was just that. Loved having the hot tub right out back and inside was very cozy and comfortable. Everything was just as advertised. Not too far from Sugarloaf and plenty of outdoor activities nearby to enjoy such a beautiful part of the state. Thanks Sherri!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little camp in the woods. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably and has everything you would need. Convenient to the Loaf, hiking and the lake. So many nice little thoughtful touches, and the outdoor area was so comfy. Will definetly be back!

Very relaxing, cute and clean
Beautiful place. We can tell they have been doing a lot of work and the place looks fabulous. Access to the lake is through the public ramp down the road less than a mile away. Gorgeous views and a few little "hide away" camping/ fishing spots down into the preserve at the end of the road (1/2 mile away at most). Accommodations were wonderful. The boys got to go kayaking and fishing. I had a chance to enjoy quiet time. The fire put was great and the hot tub was relaxing. We had a wonderful couple of days!

Sherri was very accommodating and maintain great communication with us when needed. We have fun at the Stratton Plaza down the road and got in a few runs at the mountain before the season was over. Would definitely recommend this stay.

Cute little cabin in the woods near lake, small town with everything you need and only 8 miles for Sugarloaf. Very impressed with how well stocked and equipped a cabin was especially the kitchen. I’ve stayed in a bunch of rentals this winter at other big ski areas like Killington and North Conway and they are very lacking, one place didn’t even have salt this place has everything including coffee thank you! Owner is very accessible and thoughtful. Thank you for a great long weekend will definitely be back in the future.

Boat launch nearby. Sugarloaf 30 saddleback 50. Deer feed onsite for an unreal experience of watching a herd of 7. Would return . Only small complaint was bedroom door doesn't shut tight. New windows well insulated and priced right.
