Home was perfect for what we needed. Karen was great to communicate with and very friendly. House was exactly as described.

This place has great vibes! The house was so comfortable and relaxing. The only surprise was the takedown reno of the house next door (the same owner as this house) without notification prior to my booking. The noise was disruptive for a couple days while working from home. If that wasn’t the case this place would’ve been a solid 10/10.

What an adorable little property! Even better than the listing. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the home on the inside and by the fenced in backyard and patio area. Charming, clean, and well decorated...the house was everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable. We also can't say enough about the location. So close to a plethora of amazing restaurants! Check in was very easy, and the owner was extremely responsive and communicative. My only small suggestion would be that the ceiling fan could use a good dusting. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Louisville!!

We had a lovely time staying in this property. The house is updated, clean and well maintained. Although we didn't do any cooking at the house, the kitchen appears well stocked and was very clean. There is a small garage in the back, and our SUV did fit in, just. But its a very tight fit and difficult to maneuver in the back alley, so after the first night we just left the car out front on the street. There is ample street parking available and we always found the space right in front of the house available when we returned from our outings.
Although the neighborhood appears to be in the process of 'gentrification', with some houses, like this one, appearing to have been newly remodeled and some close to falling down, we had no issues and felt completely safe. It's a charming neighborhood close to dining options, several of which are easily walkable, and a short uber ride to Churchill Downs which was where we spent most of our time while we were in town. Would definitely stay again if we come back down for another Derby weekend!

The home was clean and as pictured. The power was out when we were there but that was due to a storm, the whole street was out. The owner did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I loved the view of the church from the back yard!

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was cozy, beautiful, relaxing, centrally located, and well stocked. This property met all of our needs and the owners were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely use this property again for our future getaways in Louisville.

Absolutely perfect for our visit, the house was Perfectly located, and such a charming clean house! The Keurig pot in the morning was perfect! Could not have wished for anything more! All the convenience of home!

We were very pleased with this property for many reasons. This home was extremely clean and offered every amenity that we needed throughout our stay. The owner is friendly and was quick to communicate with at any point. The location was just a short drive to many of Louisvilles main attractions. And, we enjoyed the unique cafe/coffee shop just steps across the street! We are looking forward to renting from this owner again in the upcoming weeks! This is a great property to rent, no need to look any further!

Overall the property was good. The house is cute and feels comfortable to stay in. The hosts are very communicative. The location was overall good, just a little bit of louder traffic outside the house which leaked into the thin walls.
If you plan on having two or more people staying in separate beds, I suggest looking elsewhere. The pull out couch is just a sliding mattress that is significantly smaller than a standard sized twin bed. The cleanliness is surface level good. However, under the bed, couch, and other areas are not clean. We had a cockroach in the bathroom that may be do to this.

overall we loved it. very comfortable. being in our 60's and 70's we had trouble with all the light switches and didn't realize till our last day that the remote for the fan/light was on the table. I was using the switch on the wall. But we are old so don't take to much from our lighting challenges lol. Any way thank you so much and hope when we decide to . come visit my daughter and son in law again we can stay at your property. It was only 2 minutes from where my daughter lives.

This home is the perfect getaway in a great location. We went to Angel's Envy and Rabbit hole. Both a few minutes down the road. Then we were able to walk to a few bars and restaurants to enjoy the night life. Great cozy place that is very welcoming.

Lovely updated, modernized historic shotgun house! We found we were located close to everything we wanted to do. The one car garage in the back alley was a huge plus, as street parking was hard to find. Well cared for home!

Great experience. Shotgun house was very updated. Had problem with the coffee by maker but it was self inflicted. Texted Karen and she quickly resolved problem(There was switch on back!) close to awesome restaurants and Louisville attractions. Would. have been even better for a weeks stay.

Took my kiddos to their first music festival this was a super cute place. Great kitchen, spacious resting. Loved their house!

Charming home
I absolutely loved this place. Out of all the places I’ve ever stayed in, this one is by far the best one. The neighborhood was very lovely. There’s a coffee shop right across the street. Restaurants and bars are walking distance. Karen’s place was very charming. One of the things that stood out for me personally was a full length mirror. I always complain about the lack of mirrors when getting ready and this one has one. The place was clean and easy to find. The bedroom was so quiet and dark. I woke up incredibly rested. I hope that next time I’m in Louisville this place is available.
