I gave this house a 2/5 only because we had the best time with family for a wedding. My advice would be to not rent for a few months and get some updating and repairs completed. First right off the bat, we couldn’t get into the house with the code, had to jump the fence and went in through the back because it wasn’t locked. Thankfully there was a garage door opener because we wouldn’t have been able to lock the front door. Then, the elevator didn’t work, so we had to carry everything up the 3 flights of stairs. Tried to call and never had help arrive. The master bathroom was beautiful and the shower was so relaxing, but it wouldn’t drain. With all 3 of the shower heads running, it clogged so fast it was basically a swimming pool after 2 minutes. The furniture is very outdated, and you can tell it’s been used a lot. The pool was extremely cloudy and super dirty. The hot tub never got hot and jets didn’t even shoot inward, they shot upward causing water to go all over the patio. There’s no shower coming from the beach, so sand gets tracked all over, eventually leading to the pool. It’s also very weird there isn’t a bathroom or pool room in the garage/basement/bar area? The pool sticks were broken and the pool table was uneven, we couldn’t even play. The second king bedroom door’s handle broke off, and the glass in the door also had a large spider crack in it. It was extremely inconvenient that the fifth bedroom was still closed off still after almost a year, because putting the bed in the fourth bedroom with two single beds was very tight and uncomfortable. The tv in that room was shattered and there were Bobby pins in one of the single beds, and stains on the sheets, proving the sheets had not been changed. Finally, when we first got to the house, there was old Dominos pizza and sauces sitting in the refrigerator. Vacasa did allow us to check out for free at 2pm instead of 10am on check out day for the inconveniences, because our flights weren’t until later in the day. All in all we had a great time together and made the best of it, its just underwhelming to deal with when you’re paying 2 grand a night for a home.

Poorly maintained, pool pump was broken and thus hot tub heater didn’t work, pool was overflowing and made the deck all wet, master shower didn’t drain and there were no dishes, cups of other essentials in the home. Stay away from all properties managed by Vacasa as the have been terrible to work with to get items resolved. First time for everything, including being disappointed by our VRBO rental.

The home is gorgeous. The home is beautifully done and spacious. The beach is out back door and straight down to the beach. The views to the ocean are fantastic. We spent hours walking on the beach, looking for shells. There is a pool which the boys were in all the time.

My family met for a combined birthday celebration with ages from 3 months to 65. We all loved the home, and it felt like home; with a spectacular view, very spacious, many gathering spaces, beautiful appointments and more amenities and toys than we could begin to use. We would highly recommend this location and hope everyone who goes enjoys this home as much as we did.

The home is in a great location just steps away from the beach. House is very spacious, scenic views from the balconies, we had a very good time.

Issues we had were we needed to monitor the level of the swimming pool every few hours because there must be a leak somewhere because it would lose water constantly. I met the pool guy the first day we were there and was told to keep an eye on the water level, if it drops below the skimmer, the whole system basically stops. Talked to the neighbor to the south of us, who made the same comment about water level, so it's a known issue. We kept our eye on it, made a game out of it, but something some people might not want to deal with on a daily basis.

We booked when there was a 5th bedroom and were told about a month and half before we went, it was closed off. Not the best situation but they put that bed into another bedroom so we could still have some older kids not have to share a bed with their younger brothers. Kids these days, haha

Power was not working in the master bath when we first got there, found the circuit breaker and reset it, all good. There was a lightbulb out in the master water closet, ceiling is super tall so no way to reach. We had an ongoing issue with the wifi cutting in and out, contacted Vacasa about it, was told they'd send someone out to look at it, expect a phone call. Never got the phone call but wifi came back on, so I don't know if the guy came and left while we were out. For that reason, didn't bother with the lightbulb, but was a little interesting late at night visiting that room if you needed to do your business.

Furniture is nice but it is dated. Needs some definite upgrades there. Walls had paint missing from being chipped, again not a huge issue. Lastly, came across a nice Florida cockroach running across my foot in the upstairs bathroom, nice little wake up call at 2 a.m. It was the only bug found in the house, found another one by the pool. Just chalking that up being by the beach and not anything on the house.

All in all, it was a great time, just some things you wouldn't expect you'd have to deal with when you're spending over 10k for a get away.

We were notified about 4 weeks prior to our rental dates that one bedroom would not be available for our use and we could either accept that or get a complete refund. With 10 non-refundable airline tickets and no time to find another rental option we had no choice. They compensated us by taking $40 off the total rental price. Quite honestly that was insulting for what was asked of us and frustrating because they were very difficult to get a hold of by either email or phone call. The house was clean and tidy but overall very dated and cluttered with the out dated decor. Lots of vases of silk flowers and wrought iron and tapestry wall hangings, along with worn and tattered area rugs. It desperately needs updating in overall aesthetic as well as furniture and appliances. The bed linens and pillows should be upgraded and replaced and outdoor patio furniture should be replaced with matching sets. The house details stated there was exercise equipment but there not one piece of exercise equipment there. Also, there was a grill but the propane tank was empty so we had to pay to have that refilled. I have never stayed in a rental that was so under-stocked with basic needs. There were maybe a total of 10 plates and 10 random plastic cups, by day 2 we were at the store buying toilet paper, hand soap, counter cleaner, plastic wrap, salt and pepper, none of these were supplied at the house. We expected the house to be overall better suited for rentals with upgraded furniture, appliances, amenities, and decor.

Plenty of pool and beach equipment and toys - did not need to bring our own. Spacious house with well-stocked kitchen. Pictures online are very accurate. The view from the back bedrooms is amazing. Excellent communication by the management company - one of the bedrooms was going to be under construction during our stay. I was notified and my questions were answered appropriately and in a timely fashion. We were also offered a discount since one of the bedrooms was not available- I expected to have to call/email asking where the refund was, but it was back in my account within a few business days, exactly like they had promised. We will definitely be staying here again.

When I stepped through the door, very clean and had a clean odor ! Everything was in working order except broken dryer and I called to fix and came next day to fix. Daily I did a quick swifter cleaning for sand, plus it had a vaccuum. We set up a plastic bin to wash feet off from beach so we kept pool clean (Even the sexy pool boy gave us a compliment for keeping pool clean). Location was perfect for my young adults - 2 beach bars were next door. We rented a street legal golf cart for cruising enjoyment to the Pulix grocery store and shopping for us girls. Overall, we had a great week at Treasure Island. There were 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 children, 17, 15, 14, and 10. The house was outstanding from every point of view, location, size, furnishings, it had everything. Given the number of us, it needed a few more beach chairs, so we purchased 4 more and left them there. one of the main reasons we selected this home was because it had all of the beach equipment needed to enjoy the beach. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely look to stay at it again in the future.

The property was perfect for the amount of guest allowed. The area had lots of good restaurants and the beach was beautiful. Definitely recommend for family reunions
