Our family had a lovely stay at this historical home in Bolivar! We had the opportunity to stay for two nights while biking through on the C & O Canal. This historical home is beautiful! Robin and Frank have done an incredible job remodeling this home! It is spacious, clean, and well decorated! It offers plenty of space both inside and out. My husband, brother, and sister-in-law all said we will definitely stay here again!
Thank you Robin and Frank! They even had a delicious treat and coffee, from the local bakery, waiting for our arrival. Robin also offered to bring over a hose to wash down our dirty bicycles. Robin was just a text away our entire visit. Robin and Frank are truly super hosts! Thanks for a lovely stay!

The house was exactly as listed and more than hoped for, as well as excellent cleaning and bedding.
Very quiet neighborhood in close proximity to the National Park, Harper’s Ferry and other sights. Great running and hiking trails, shopping, food, etc.
A favorite was Snallygasters Wine and Beer Bistro with good food.. Ionya was a terrific server!
All in all, Robin was a terrific host and we would recommend this property to anyone..

We were a group of 4 women celebrating a special birthday year. We had an amazing time and the house met our needs but also would work for a family. The house is a 1-1.5 mile walk to the downtown in Harper’s Ferry but very close to a bakery and restaurants in Bolivar. It was very clean and adorably decorated. We appreciated the strong Wi-Fi signal and how well stocked it was with both kitchen items and leisure items like books and games. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. This house may be part of an annual trip!

I cannot say enough about this lovely, historic home and the surrounding area. The owner checked in with us beforehand and during to ensure we got in okay and that everything was going well. The home is very beautiful, spacious, and clean. It made for a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend with my husband, our 2-year-old, and my in laws. While the house is on a main street, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. There is a playground down the street (bonus for kids!), as well as some restaurants. It is also just minutes away from charming shops, restaurants, and other Harpers Ferry attractions…wineries, breweries, trails, the National Park. A plus was having kid friendly plates, utensils, books, and crayons. The owner even offered a late check out. We cannot wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay. We were so close to everything we wanted to see. Walking to Harpers Ferry was great . It's hard to find parking in town walking made it easy. Thank you for a wonderful trip with my sister-in -laws.

We stayed at the home for an annual trip with some friends of ours. We try a different location each year. This home is conveniently located close to Baltimore, DC, Frederick areas. There is plenty to do. Hike to the overlooks, walk or drive to Harpers Ferry, visit the casino. We walked down into town and visitors some shops and did some sightseeing, enjoyed the local pubs the house is old but renovated, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for your stay near harpers ferry.

One of the nicest vacation homes Ive ever stayed in and it has everything you need. Less than 10 mins to the national historic park. I kept thinking the whole time "man I want to live here all the time!" Double bonus points for that kitchen :)

This is the most lovely and Hallmark feeling town. Everyone is kind, seriously great people. The house. Was next to everything you need or could want to see. Great house and amenities, my daughter was thrilled they even had a series she was reading on the shelf. Owner was easy to work with and location primes you for sightseeing in the area. Comfortable beds, lovely kitchen-- I would recommend this property if visiting they area!

Beautiful house, great location to downtown, and walking distance to local restaurants. Hiked the Appalachian trail from historical city of Harpers Ferry. Learn the start of the Civil War and history that followed. Tubed down the Shenandoah River. They also have white water rafting for the more adventurous people. The Anvil restaurant is very good and a very short distance walk.

This property was GORGEOUS! The kitchen and bathrooms were updated, clean, and well stocked with things you might need or have forgotten. The furniture in each room was nicely designed and modern, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners were incredibly kind and responsive to messages, and check in was seamless. We will certainly be back again for another long weekend in the future!

The renters have clearly thought of every detail in this home. The space is clean, comfortable, and there are thoughtful additions that made us feel like we were visiting with family. It was so easy to communicate with the owners and to get in and out of the home. We hope that all of our friends and family will stay here when they go to Bolivar as well.

We stayed three days and with each day we appreciated the house more and more. It has been totally renovated but the charm of the era of the house remains: some nice touches with decor and design.
In addition, the house is very well appointed. From the kitchen to the linen's, all is thoughtfully done and well equipped. Though the upstairs bathroom is small, it is very nicely done.
The location, though close to the street, is quiet and it was fun to sit on the front porch and watch the world go all the while out the the hustle and bustle of downtown Harpers Ferry.
The owners were easy to contact and very responsive to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.
