We loved everything about this beautiful spot in Redding. Right across the street from the river trails and walk able to downtown. Loved everything about it!

What makes some accommodations better than others? The biggest factor is the owners. Christian and Angela are Star Plus owners. They communicated with us throughout our booking, stay and departure.
Location, location, location!!!!! We love Redding because it offers everything we look for: walking and hiking trails, biking, fishing and skiing (when there’s snow!). And, from 991 Center Street, you can leave the car keys at home. We walked to the sundial bridge, enjoyed an evening of music and wine at the Branch House, walked to the dam and back, fished numerous gravel bars on the ‘Sac”. All without getting in the car. The chamber of commerce was within walking distance and were a great source of information.
And, when we had a mechanical problem with our car, an autop mechanic shop is 2 blocks away. We dropped he car for the day, walked home and enjoyed our day.
If you enjoy outdoor activities, Redding should be at the top of your list. And, this house is the perfect location to explore from.

The mix of some updated features with still having the feel of a small home from the 1930s was a nice comfortable, cozy, and quiet stay. Would stay again the next time I'm in the area.

Good experience. Property was located in downtown Redding, but in an area that had less traffic, which was nice. It was also close to the Sacramento River. I didn't go to the river as I was at a conference at Bethel Church, but I think you could easily walk from the property to enjoy the river.
The property was clean. It had 3 air conditioning units, which is must for a Redding summer. The kitchen had essentials for cooking and enough cups, plates, etc. The unit has a washing machine and dryer.
1 Queen sized bed, and a room with a bunk bed. I think maybe a family of 3-4 people would be comfortable here.
Parking was no problem, and access to the unit was no problem either.
I had a good stay and would recommend this property for its location, cleanliness, ease of access and amenities.

Clean, comfortable & charming home with a minimalist and farmhouse vibe. Heater & air conditioning in each room a plus. Nice neighborhood that’s centrally located made getting around easy. Check-in a snap and excellent communication/response from the manager. Plan to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Center House. It was perfect for our small family (2 adults, 1 child). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The location was great for exploring Redding, and the surrounding areas.

Well thought out rental, including filtered water waiting in the refrigerator. It was very clean when I arrived, and everything worked. I will try to rent it again if I return to Redding.

The owners were wonderful to communicate with. It was easy to find the place and easy to get in. Clean house (very minimalist style so it’s easy to keep clean and look clean). We were visiting redding to look at possible Neighborhoods to live in. This was the perfect spot to use as a base camp. A close walk to coffee restaurants and breweries. This isn’t a house you book to lay around in all day. You stay here if you plan on being out side having fun in the mountains or on the river when the sun is up.
Perfect spot at the right price. Next time we come up to continue our house hunt, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing!!

This property is located on a quiet street with great proximity to cycling opportunities in Redding. If you like to ride mountain or road bikes and you are going to Redding, this is the place to stay. We’ll be back!

Convenient Location and Great Communication
Communicating with Angela was very easy, and so was the check in process. The apartment itself was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The location is conveniently located near Lassen National Park, where we spent the weekend.
