This house was exactly as advertised! Our family had much to celebrate and Alisa made it convenient and easy. The location was amazing, and there were so many gathering spaces that we never felt cramped (there was 13 of us) and the game room was spectacular!!! The house provided something for everyone and we can't wait to come back!!!

We stayed at the property over Thanksgiving weekend with a family of 10 (and 4 additional guests at dinner). The home was great for that group. There was more than enough space to sleep, the house warmed up quickly with the many fire places, and there was plenty of room to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need. We enjoyed the game room and watched football in the movie room. The hosts were very welcoming making sure we had everything we needed, were responsive when needed, and helped ensure we got on the road okay.

Great property in quite location, near many amenities. We had a party of 10 and there was more then enough room for everyone to have their own space.
Everyone was happy with the property and we all had a great time using the game room and hanging out on the large balcony patio. The kids loved the tree swing and it kept them busy for hours each day.

Beautiful stay- as pictured. Communicative and friendly host. Fireplace outside was not working, but this was communicated prior. Thermostat was on a program and kept reverting back to program instead of allowing guest to set it an leave it-which was only bothersome on one hot day. They had all that we needed, including towels and appliances, and a lovely gift upon arrival. Will rent from again in future!

Took my family for the weekend to celebrate my 65th birthday. There was plenty of beds for everyone. Its a beautiful cabin. Water feature in the back that you can see and hear from the patio. Grilled one night. Sat on the patio and played card games. They have a game room with ping pong, air hockey, basketball and fuseball. Spent one afternoon playing a tournament. Had gift cards for the ones who scored the highest. It was a fun and relaxing weekend. I would stay there again. The owners were fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Bear Lodge. The place was really big, the game room kept everyone entertained and the multiple places to socialize inside and outside were really nice. The water feature in the back provided relaxing sounds. We have stayed in Torreon before and love the area, we would definitely consider staying at this rental again.

This is a great cabin in a very nice golf course community. Very clean and organized with so many great features. It had everything we needed. Host was so very helpful and welcoming. We would book it again.

This was by far the best experience we would have hoped for. From the moment we booked our staycation out host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. The home was very large and fit multiple needs with family and kids. We will be staying again in the future.

Our family stayed here Nov 11th - 14th and had a great time. The cabin is really nice and plenty big and accommodating enough for everyone to spread out to have some time to themselves and come together for food, games (ping pong, foosball, air hockey, pop-a-shot), hot tub and movies. We had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend without having to leave the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.
Alisa the Host was very helpful to make sure we had everything we needed and responsive to any questions we had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property exceeded our expectations and is absolutely beautiful. When we arrived, there was a basket full of goodies and treats for everyone to enjoy. There are three levels where everyone could either come together or retreat for some rest and relaxation. The gameroom in the garage kept the kids busy for hours. Alisa was accommodating and frequently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. She has really thought of everything. The house is well stocked even down to shampoo and body wash. The cabin was perfect for our group and we plan to stay again this summer. Thanks, Alisa for sharing your home with us.

Amazing Home!
We rented this beautiful cottage home in the woods for a family gathering. It was just perfect! Three levels plus a recreation room provided an ideal setting for kids, teens and adults. Perfectly appointed so we did not need to bring much of anything. The owners thought of everything. A beautiful lake five minutes away by car with boat and paddle board rentals made for great family time together. The house is amazing and we will be renting it again and again. What a find!

This home was one of the best we've ever stayed in. The house had all the nice touches & amenities, Lights were labeled which really helped, lots of nice bedding, fun games in the garage, just overall a great experience. Owners were super responsive during our stay. Will definitely stay here again!

Great cabin for large families
We had an amazing time with family at this cabin! It was so clean and beautiful. The kitchen/breakfast nook was a gathering space for the adults because we’re a big Hispanic family and we’re always cooking something delicious. The kids loved the media area downstairs that had a Nintendo switch as well as the game area in the garage. The house had so much space we never felt on top of each other even with ten kids from ages 2-16 running around. The property manager was very helpful and responded promptly. They even put up some decorations for my daughter’s birthday which was unexpected and a great surprise for her. There really wasn’t a down side to the property but if I had to pick something, the outside fireplace on the deck was broken so we couldn’t use it and it was in the 20’s at night. Other than that it was absolutely perfect!

Best Ever Family Retreat
This house was a dream! Probably the best house rental experience we have ever had, and we have had some very good ones. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend with a large family group. The kitchen was wonderful, and the owners went out of their way to see if we had questions about the kitchen, appliances, spices, etc. They sent us extra pictures so we would know if we needed to bring anything from home. Tons of room for the little kids to play in the basement and in the garage/game room while adults enjoyed a little more quiet in the rest of the house. A couple of the beds are extremely firm, so for those needing a softer rest, keep that in mind - maybe bring a mattress topper.

Great cabin in Torreon with plenty of space…
We rented this cabin for almost the entire month of July. Good location, very nice, with plenty of space & beds. Ping pong table in the garage was a plus. Property manager was prompt, responsive, & very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to rent in Torreon. I only had a couple of complaints…and I will preface these comments with the fact that the owners just purchased this property a couple months before we stayed there, so these issues could be resolved by the new owners. It needs a deep cleaning…drawers, shelves, closets, some corners of the floor, etc. It also needs pest control for bugs. Lastly, was that the A/C upstairs didn’t work very well. It wouldn’t cool the upstairs during the day.
These are easily fixable issues for the new owners. Besides that, it was a very pleasant place to stay.

Beautiful Property!
We stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was amazing. The fresh air, the openness, the ROOM! We had a small group of 10 and everybody felt comfortable and didn't feel like they were on top of each other! Would definitely recommend!
