When we arrived at 4 pm check in the home had not been cleaned from previous guests. I contacted the managment compnay & they apolgized & had someone finally show up at 5:30 pm to clean. The deck needs to be replaced- there are holes in the deck. It is rotting away- a huge safety hazard. We were not ablle to enjoy any relaxing time on the deck. The kitchen counter tops are coming loose on one end which needs to be fixed. If you are looking for a place to eat your meals at with your family there is no table! I had to line my 4 grandchildren around the coffee table to eat their meals. Us adults used our laps while sitting on the couch. I never thought I needed to look at pictures when I rent a home to make sure there is a table & chairs!! I have rented homes & condos many times in the past from companies like VRBO & have never had this experience before. I am hoping this is a one time situation.

The house was nice & newly renovated, but missing a dining room table! We had nowhere to eat! No chest of drawers in any room; you had to live out of your bag. Deck on back porch was rotten & holes in it. My kid’s foot actually fell through one spot! Also, pics made it seem like you can see the lake from back porch…. You CANNOT see the lake from this property! It wasn’t too bad, but we won’t stay here again on this type of vacation.

The pictures make this property appear to be next to the docks and on the lake - not true! The unit is more than a block away from the water and on top of a very steep hill - not the lakeside experience you may think you're getting and not even navigable for many potential guests. The description says the unit is remodeled- which appears to be true, but must've been done by inexperienced labor as the electrical switches for many of the fixtures do not work. Unit needs pest control as we had roaches and spiders. Furniture is either badly worn or non existent. The deck wood is badly worn and rotting - needs replacing. I contacted the owner and he was polite - but unyielding to the issues.
