Not sure if we could have found a more idyllic location for our family Christmas vacation. The unit itself could not have been more perfect for our group of 6 (my wife and I, our two kids, and my parents). Each generation had their own bathroom and ground floor meant my aging parents didn't need to do stairs. The unit is literally steps away from the ocean and steps away from the pool. Ocean views from the dining/living room, and one of the bedrooms. Patio facing the ocean was a nice place to enjoy the sunrise, and an even better place to watch the sunset. The grounds of the condominium were very well-maintained and offered the kids a wonderful green space in which to play (when they weren't having an absolute ball playing in the surf or in the adjacent rock-protected wading area). The unit itself was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The unit is due for a few updates/minor repairs (sticky screen door, faucets that need a little tightening), but nothing that had a major impact on our stay. The only reason I couldn't rate the check-in as 5-stars was that every interaction before check-in was through the VRBO app, but the final information about the keyless entry codes came as a non-VRBO email (real estate agency address) so I missed it and it didn't come up in my searches for VRBO like previous correspondence. We were able to make contact with the property manager without too much delay, though. Highly recommend this property.

We found this property and it was perfect for what we needed. The pool and beach were so close and the lanai was amazing for cocktails and laughter. The sunrises were unbelievable too! We love Kapaa, so we couldn’t have gotten a better location.

Everything was very accommodating for three adult couples. Location was perfect for our daily excursions and airport. We also enjoyed Lava Lava Beach club right next door!!

We found this property very accommodating based on location, pool, ocean. Ground floor with a 18 month old, perfect. I would only say the that kitchen needs a overall clean out, with utensils and especially the pots and pans. All furniture cushions need a deep clean as well as the throw rugs. New towels would help too. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would consider and recommend this condo if they would update the items listed above. Thank you.

This is a great location. Our group loved being here. Plenty of room for the 8 in our group. In doors were comfortably cool. The patio facing the beach outside can get a little humid and a little air circulating would be nice. A ceiling fan would be beneficial. Regardless, we sat there and enjoyed gorgeous views, a perfectly colored rainbow and lovely sunrises and sunsets. The location of the condo sat right off of the beach, so that was a beautiful view as well. The ocean waves and water temperature was ideal. Plus, there was a store and restaurants within walking distance, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. Some things could use a little tending to. The wallpaper was coming off the bathroom wall in one of the bedrooms, but nothing major. We spent little time indoors, so it really didn't matter. We did have to reach out the property manager on multiple occasions to get an answer to a question we had and didn't get a response. Eventually we heard back and the answer to the question was more than satisfactory. All in all, I think anyone staying here would love it and I know if I had the opportunity, my family and I would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in Kauai. The location of the condo is central. The water is lovely to view, but was too rough for snorkeling. However, the central location of the home made our jaunts to other, calmer, beaches very easy. The lack of central air was not an issue, we kept the bedrooms cooled and used fans in the main areas. It cools off nicely after sunset. The management was not responsive when I reached out about the dryer vent being clogged. I emailed on our second day and have never received any response. We just air dryed our clothes. Perhaps it was not possible to get a repair, but a response would have been appropriate. Kauai is breathtaking, relaxing and the trip was wonderful. The kitchen was sufficiently appointed and the view from the home was top notch.
