This was one of the best Vrbo places that we have ever stayed at. The location was great and the house was charming. We loved the exposed brick, wooden floors and decor. It was also immaculate. The generosity of the owners put it in a class by itself! There was an assortment of breakfast foods, snacks and beverages. It was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this home away from home. 😊

The place was PERFECT and exactly as described. We had a couple in each of the two queen bedrooms, and two single gals shared the master. A last minute guest on the final night took the "den" with the futon. We could have easily put someone else in the attic/exercise room if needed. Six was just perfect for the outdoor seating, and cozy living room with gas fireplace. The snacks and refrigerated items were over the top! All the extras like coffee creamer, fresh lemons and limes for drink garnish - AMAZING. AND THE PARKING!! Two reserved numbered spots AND guest spots available too (unheard of in "downtown"). Walkable to favorite restaurants for dinner. We are ready to reserve it again for our 45th reunion. The hosts were easily accessible for questions and assistance. I just hope they don't sell it! LOVE IT!

First off our group was from Frederick and all relocated several years ago, so we are very familiar with Downtown. But WOW....what a great rental!! So much extra attention to detail you will not regret this rental at all. The hosts had everything we could have needed. The property was spotless, ample room sizes providing privacy for all and we thoroughly enjoyed the backyard patio. Next time we return to hang out with friends will be here. Thanks for EVERYTHING Mary and Joe.

This property was clean, comfortable, well appointed and large. Stocked full of food and drinks! I would recommend eat plugs for road noise. We loved the back patio as well.

Very nicely renovated early 1900 home. Visiting Frederick for a family wedding. Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Wonderful host. Food items provided were an unexpected delight.

Our hosts spoiled us. We had everything we could want and more. The house itself is a dream. I wish we lived there. Two parking spaces in downtown is amazing, but then add in all the bedrooms and full bathrooms. Even a fountain on the terrace. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Not only was the property amazing, the bed's super comfortable, and the location outstanding, but Mary was the ultimate hostess. Everything we could possibly need for our stay was provided to us. We couldn't have asked for anything better except more time to have stayed at this property. I highly recommend and wish every host we ever had was like this one!

The place was fantastic. Clean and a great location to Downtown. It had everything you can think of and wish for. Mary had the place stocked with food and drink. Would stay again. Accommodated all my request. Was in town for a wedding so needed some requests and it was all taken care of.

Had a wonderful sibling weekend at Mary and Joe’s place in Frederick. Everything was so fantastic that I’m spoiled for future VRBO rental experiences. The house was decorated so nicely and the owners supplied us with everything we could need and MORE! There were flowers, some fruit, snacks, breakfast items, coffee, half n half and orange juice etc… the beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels. We loved sitting in the courtyard and chatting each morning and night. Shopping in the cute town of Frederick was so much fun and we loved the historic town. We have stayed at this property several times and it never disappoints. The host/hostess are very accommodating. The amenities are fantastic, and it’s just a short walk to downtown Frederick. Highly recommend this property!!

This house was great. It is close to downtown Frederick and very walkable. The house was very clean and very comfortable for the 7 adults that stayed there. I slept on the futon and it was great. The courtyard is very nice but too cold for us to use it. I can’t say enough about how well stocked the house is! I have never rented a house that had eggs, bacon and sausage in refrigerator plus frozen breakfast foods in freezer! Mary was great with directions etc. I would give this place a 6 star if I could!

We have stayed in many places through VRBO, but without a doubt Mary and Joe were the best hosts we have ever dealt with. They were very responsive and the kitchen was well stocked with many items that we would normally have to go to a store to get i.e. coffee, cream, breakfast items, yogurt, fruit, and a few surprises. The place was very clean, close downtown, and the perfect size for our group of seven. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here and we definitely will the next time we are in Frederick.

The home was located near the beautiful downtown Frederick, Maryland area. The home was wonderfully decorated and provided all the space we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving and our family Christmas! The home was neat, clean, well-stocked with breakfast items, toiletries and basic needs. Communication with the host was easy and I always heard back from her in a quick and timely manner. I would recommend this stay to others and would certainly stay there again myself!

Mary’s place was truly exceptional and one of the best, most comfortable spaces I’ve ever stayed in. She takes great pride in the property and being a great host and it shows! She is the kindest, most thoughtful host that provides everything you could ask or imagine in a home away from home. We had the most incredible time. I also own a VRBO property and I was so impressed with all of the amenities, amazing communication from the owner, and her flexibility and her genuine concern for her guests’ stay. We loved our weekend and are so appreciative. Don’t hesitate booking here, it’s the best!

Huge Thank You to Mary and Joe. We were staying in Frederick for our son's wedding with my mother, our daughters and son-in-law, so we need 4 bedrooms. In addition, the groomsmen (10 of them!) were getting ready at the house. To say that the house was perfect would be an understatement. Mary and Joe had the house stocked with waters, coffee, creamers, breakfast sandwiches, little desserts, etc. Each bathroom had soap, shampoo, towels and - most importantly -for the ladies - hair dryers. We didn't have to bring a thing! They think of everything. The outdoor space was perfect for the groom and groomsmen to "pre-game" before the wedding with a huge cooler and even a gas firepit. Mary and Joe were so nice and responsive to our inquiries and requests - including letting us check=in early. Finally, on the morning after the wedding (when everyone was moving a little slow), Mary sent a congratulatory message and told us to take our time checking out. We can't thank Mary and Joe enough for making our son's wedding weekend the best it could be. THANK YOU!

We ABSOLUTELY loved this property!! We had 7 people on our vacation/family reunion. We had plenty of room to feel relaxed but also had a nice space to gather for dinner, games, and conversation. The property manager, Mary, was so helpful with recommendations not too mention all the extras to make us feel comfortable as soon as we stepped into the home. We loved the area and just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and breweries in Frederick. We honestly did not want to leave. We hope to be back soon and would rent this property again and again 🥰

Annual ladies' weekend getaway
Stayed at the property with 5 other friends from college. Great property with plenty of space. Responsive and hospitable owners. There were so many nice touches- private patio with fire table, nespresso and coffee maker, etc. The owners were so thoughtful as to provide coffee, creamer, champagne and orange juice, etc. Would recommend this rental to others.

Wonderful stay in downtown
Mary was a fantastic host and her house is perfect for a weekend or a week long stay. Everything you might need, including a fully stocked kitchen, toiletries, and a couple of weights and mats for any workout you might want to complete. There was a portable crib and highchair, as well, which was a huge life saver. The great thing about this house was that the bedrooms were all spaced out so we were able to have multiple families with children and no one got disturbed. The location of the house is right on a main street which means you'll hear a few sirens but you're also a short walk away from many restaurants and shops. Mary was a dream to communicate with and she was so helpful in setting up our stay. Thank you Mary and Joe for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great House and Hosts!
We had a wonderful time at the property. It has plenty of room, beautifully furnished and was perfect for our Thanksgiving of four. The hosts were incredibly attentive and very thoughtful. As a owner of a rental in another state, I can expertly say this is a gem of a place. We’ve already asked them where they got some of their furniture and borrowed a few other ideas from them for check-in! You won’t be disappointed staying.
*one note-if you have anyone with mobility issues, the stairs are a bit steep due to it being a historical house. However, they did a fabulous job of putting a full bedroom and bath on the first floor. My MIL was so happy to have her own space.

Amazing Place, GREAT Location
Can't say enough about how great this place is!! Centrally located in historic Frederick with convenient access to everything...including some AWESOME restaurants. Lots and lots of room for our friends and family, with a separate room for every adult couple. The extra touches made it feel like home: new appliances, clean linens and towels, and "extras" like water, coffee, etc made us all feel welcome and appreciated. Definitely our "go to" for this ski season given how close it is to the slopes! Love it!!
