It was Absolutely Wonderful and Beautiful

We loved the Rivers Bend Cabin.The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of bath towels and everything needed to cook meals in the kitchen. We got to meet our host (Thomas) in person and he was very nice and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. He even offered for us to fish at his other properties since the river was to low to canoe at that time. Which we very much appreciated. Our 5 night stay was very relaxing, especially with the awesome dipping pool with waterfall! It was amazing after a long day of fishing. The view from the deck was my go to every morning while enjoying my coffee. We saw deer in the river below the cabin, and we had a very large flock of geese come in one morning and they stayed floating in the river that whole day. On our 4th morning a storm rolled in and once it cleared up we had an Eagle fly in and land in a dead tree on the river. We were able to get some amazing pictures and a small video of the eagle when taking flight. We love the outdoors and nature, so sitting on the deck and taking in all the nature and sounds of the river flowing was much needed relaxation from our every day busy life. Unfortunately the river was low during our stay, so our plans of canoeing and fishing the river wasn't possible. So instead we walked the banks of the river in multiple locations and were able to still enjoy and catch multiple fish. Including small mouth bass, sun bream, and even a couple of goggle eyes.

Absolutely beautiful place. The splash pool was amazing as well as the spiral steps down to the river. We so enjoyed walking in the streams and looking for colorful rocks. Fixing to book again except for more than 4 days. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us.

The view is absolutely beautiful! We had such a relaxing stay! We had plans to float the River, hike at Alberts Pike & ended up not wanting to leave. We enjoyed the dipping pool, it kept my 8 year old VERY occupied! it was great for cooling off, the waterfall makes for a very relaxing sound! The arcade game was also a big hit with my son. Now he wants one for Christmas.. pictures really don't do justice. Super clean & cozy !!

We have stayed here several times the last few years. It is a very peaceful and tranquil place. We got to briefly meet the owner on this trip, he’s a great guy, we will definitely continue coming here for a peaceful getaway.

I’m so happy we ran across this property!! The views are amazing, the cabin is clean and cozy, and the landscaping, complete with the pool, moss, and path to the river make it feel quite magical. We enjoyed playing the arcade games, sitting on the deck, and soaking in the pool.

What a view!!! The cabin was amazing, we could not have asked for a better place to stay on a last minutes notice as well. Very clean and comfortable, the pool was just big enough to cool off in and the walk to the river was well worth it! Thank you for sharing with me and my family. We will definitely be back.

We loved this cabin and would definitely rent again. Beautiful scenery and clean place. The only downfall was the bedroom did get kind of warm since the air is in the living room area, but we used the fan provided to help move the air to the bedroom area. Had a fabulous time with my husband. Dipping pool is super nice for those times you don’t want to walk down to the river. The walk down is not bad but the walk up is a bit steep. The steps are great and make it so much easier. The river is cool and we brought tubes swam up river and then floated down and had a great time. Good current but not crazy. Great fishing. This cabin is spectacular and we are coming back soon with our sons. When I tell you this view is incredible, It’s unbelievable.

We loved this cabin. It was super fun having a pool around but also being able to go float the caddo!

The property could not be more beautiful and the owners have made sure that the cabin is perfect! Pictures do not do it justice, and I should know, I took so many pictures just looking off the back deck. The pool was so relaxing after a good days paddle on the Caddo. There is an outfitter just 9mins away! All in All this cabin is one my husband and I will look forward to returning to as much as we can! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

Fantastic view, extremely clean and well taken care of. The trek down to the river is steep but the stairs make it much easier than some of the other places we’ve stayed. We will definitely stay here again when we have the chance.

Cozy cabin nestled in trees with fantastic view of the Caddo River and a hay field with distant mountains. Everything we needed for a fun time.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The cabin is located close to Glenwood and gives great access to the Ouachita's. Dolly, the neighbor dog, came for a visit and was the perfect guest. She never came on the upper deck and always waited for me to come see her. The small pool is a nice refresher after a day of hiking. Thank you for a great stay!

Our stay was perfect! The view is breathtaking. The pool was terrific- just right! Getting to the river is tricky but doable if mobility isn’t an issue. My husband spent hours enjoying the fishing. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, & very well stocked with everything we needed. The view of the river & mountains was absolutely breath taking. Very quiet neighborhood away from all city noises, yet there was a quaint little town only 10 minutes away with good food and nice people.

This place is beautiful. This was a small getaway for me & my wife 13th anniversary. This was perfect for what we were wanting. We brought our side by side & found public places to ride 30 minutes away. Also loved everyone we visited with locally. We ate at Slate Rock Brewing which had great food & beer & the people there were great as well. We plan to come back with our kids someday & go to Murfeesboro to the diamond park.

The description is correct...view is breathtaking! Steps to river are awesome, our little girl loved walking them to the river. We are planning another trip during warmer weather to fully enjoy the private swimming hole.

The view was Beautiful!The landscape was not child friendly.There is no bank to the River to walk out on as the pictures would have you believe that there is.The dipping pool was not working when I spoke to the owner i specifically told him we had a 7 year old and we we’re renting the place because of the pool.He failed to tell me it was not in service said she would enjoy it.There was no water in it st all.The house was nice rents for up to 5 but was only four plates in the cabinets.The beds were very comfortable even the hide a bed was comfortable.Would not recommend for children.

Quiet, private, in the middle of the woods. We loved the all wood interior A-frame design looking out on the most beautiful countryside/river/mountains. We want to come back in warmer weather and float the river. There are many put-in and take-out spots in Glenwood just a short distance away. Access to the river from the cabin requires a steep descent on 103 steep steps which we did, but there is no handrail so it is a challenge. We loved this place.

The cabin and property is immaculate. Wildlife and views overlooking the Caddo River are amazing & so relaxing. Definitely recommended.

My fiancé and I had the perfect relaxing weekend here. It was just what we needed to recharge before tackling the holidays

Property and house were very clean. My husband and I watched the view in the mornings while drinking our coffee. We didn’t do much. We stayed inside most of the time. He read and I knitted. The quiet is what we needed. We ate supper in Glenwood which is a very short drive. Lots of places to eat. The pictures on the website are exactly what you get. Quiet, relaxing and clean.

This is absolutely the place to stay to rest and relax in the beautiful mountains of Arkansas. The scenery is the best and it is within a half hour drive to Hot Springs. We would 100% recommend this cabin to all our friends.

So well thought out, the cabin had everything we could have thought of. The character and charm mirror the great feelings and phenomenal view which did not disappoint, rain or shine. We had both plus freezing weather. We didn’t let a little freeze scare us. The cabin is immaculate and the pride of ownership of this property is most evident and appreciated.
