remm Kagoshima

The room was clean and pretty. The view from the 10th floor was great. The shower with a window to the bedroom was nice. The maximum shower water pressure was actually too high for me, so for once I could choose exactly the right pressure. The air conditioning was highly effective. The tv in the room was huge and appeared quite new. Making tea for free was nice. The elevator can be controlled with the room card and leads directly to what appears to be the center of Kagoshima, yet the room itself is quiet. The staff was helpful and looked professional. There was a massage chair in our room. All this for a very low price. How is this possible?

The room was a bit small, but I'd rather have a pretty, modern and clean room than a big one. And the air conditioning was more powerful than all the other places we had slept in, so when we used the same settings for the night I woke up during the night having to increase the temperature, because it was too cold.

Ideally located in a very nice neighbourhood. The personal is very nice.

The equipment are a bit outdated and old. The area in front of the lift smells strongly of humidity.

Location is okay and its obvious this is a higher end hotel, just don’t go here if you are going by car - then you’ll enjoy it

I went with a car and it was bad - the dedicated parking space was full by 5pm, had to park 30min by foot out. Atleast there I paid 1000yen incl a ticket to and from there. The dedicated parking space is not heavily discounted - 1500 yen for a night? I’m already paying 10k a night for a single room, crazy prices for hotel guests…
