Great Location fantastic hosts

Beautiful apartment in our favourite Spanish villiage. - Had every essential required for a 2 week family holiday. - Parking garage below the building gives that extra security. - letting agents Anna and Anders are so helpful - helped us so much before and during our stay.

- The communal pool has a lifeguard- unfortunately she was rude and not helpful at all. We went to get beds at the pool and one of us was finishing sorting the kids in the apartment and we put towels down. She came straight over and said no reserving beds. Reserving beds is a pet hate of mine so we wouldn’t have did this if we knew my partner and kids would not be down within 5-10 mins timeframe. This was 9am , there was no one in the pool area so I thought adding a towel to a bed would be fine. It wasn’t, she brought over the pool rules etc and said that I needed to read all the points. She asked for the apartment number and asked was it our apartment or rented. Asking the apartment number was fine but the rented or owned didn’t really make sense. As it was so hot my partner went to get us drinks from the apartment and go to the toilet. She came straight over and said that his towel needed to be removed cause he was not at the pool area. There was a heat wave so we couldn’t possibly have drinks down at the pool all the time. I challenged her saying he would be 5 minutes and she said no. So I lifted his towel. My husband came down with a plastic bowl of fruit and she was straight over to us to check it was plastic. It was like, she was watching you constantly incase you made a mistake and she was straight over telling you off. It wasn’t just us as I heard her challenge other guests when one forgot their iPad in the apartment and returned to get it. She didn’t allow a small ball to be used by my 12 year old saying that the pool was not for Balls but allowed others to play with balls in the same pool. I understand the need for rules at a pool Area however there should be some give in these. We used the pool area one day and never went back due to her authoritarian style . I am still trying to work out if she was only rude to those who rented the apartments and allowed the owners to have different rules.

the villa two floors above were doing building works which was very noisy all day. they were drilling the balcony which vibrated through to our apartment

Perfect location. Stylish. Clean. Garage available. Nice warmed swimming pool was open also during our stay in November - great!! Good facilities to a perfect stay.

1/3 bathrooms/toilets had mold smell and during our stay started run water to the garage below. So it was not available. Behind our building was a construction site, red soil covered also our premises (especially our own pool and terrace). Annoying, no info beforehand.
