Residence Villa Frio Frio

I stayed at Villa Frio Frio for one night as I had arrived late at Trieste airport and it was fairly close by. I walked to the Villa from the airport which took about 25 minutes as there were no late night taxis or buses from the airport (would not recommend walking with heavy luggage). The instructions to find and enter the room were received in an email from 'Riccardo,' the owner and were clear. The room was clean and had 2 comfortable single beds and nice bathroom with a decent shower, the room itself was decorated in a tasteful way. Breakfast was included and was in the main cafe downstairs and was a pleasant experience as it is also an ice cream parlour, I was able to request fresh fruit salad, croissant & coffee and offered a 'toastie,' to take away which I did. All in all I had a brief but enjoyable stay and would recommend Villa Frio Frio to travellers passing through or exploring this area.

Lage Super
