central near car park

it was very cold and draughty.heating was not sufficient.nice room but outside bedroom window was very messy and dirty.

The property was close to town

I didn't stay at the property in the end as I was double booked .although I was offered a room with shared bathroom which wasn't what I'd booked..The place was grubby and I didn't feel safe.. a rather scruffy looking man let me in the front door who was smoking a cigarette, I was also offered a refund but four days and still no sign of it. Very disappointing.

room very cramped couldn’t get radiator to work in bathroom or lounge and no reply to my messages from the owner/management company. front door left open all the time anyone could come in listing does not make clear it is a communal lounge and kitchen until after booking and pictures of the room are not of this room which is misleading. bed pushed up against a wall meant had to climb over my wife in the night to go to the toilet. not enough room to swing a cat. I suppose you get what you pay for and at half the price of any other hotel in the centre I took my chances. won’t be returning though

No info on parking. I got a ticket. Firs back door was kept locked and not feeling safe. Window cleaner came at 820am! Not exact room photo

Mattress was incredibly comfy

Ensuite shower not the best - bathroom could have been cleaner.

Great location room was modern and had everything we needed. Communal kitchen area was very good with everything you needed. But only used for our breakfast as ate out.

Having no lock on main front door.

Location was fine but, apart from that....

First of all we couldn't get in(entry should have been via a door key kept in a safe box on the door), rang the number and about ten minutes later the owner ( I presume) appeared and let us in blaming the cleaner for not leaving the key. The owner then attempted to change the lock on the front door but failed miserably. Consequently there was no lock on the main door from when we arrived on Saturday afternoon until we left on Sunday morning. I'm far from being a clean freak and have stayed in some less than salubrious places over the years but Im not even sure the cleaner existed. Linen, towels all fine but the floor of the room was dirty, the flooring very badly fitted and coming away from the floorboards underneath, shower tiles and grouting filthy. The yard area outside was also strewn with rubbish, rotting food etc. Not sure what the people staying above us were doing at around 4am but it sounded like they were trying to dispose of a body. Maybe that's what happened to the cleaner? Paid £50 for this room and it was far, far inferior to a Travelodge or an Ibis etc. I have stayed in cheap hotels in India, Morocco and The Gambia and they were all cleaner than this.

The bed was very comfy and the house is quite nice in a good location

We arrived to check in at 5pm (quite late), and our room still hadn't been cleaned and wasn't ready for us when the website says we can check in from 2pm. This was disappointing..

Just what we needed

Good kitchen facilities. Friendly service when I turned up without having read the instructions. Position really good, near everything in centre and also can walk out along the canal for a change of air

It was all fine. As there are no staff on site. I just felt a little nervous about being locked out if I left my key inside. But that is my problem. A bit of traffic noise early evening but later it is not a problem
