Definitely was a lot of space for everyone to enjoy. Close to the ocean and beautiful vistas. The one “towel” per person was not adequate and disappointing, so laundry room was a plus. Game room a hit with the kids! It could have been a little cleaner as a lot of dirt and dust noted on ceiling fans, vents, window sills. Floors appeared not to have been mopped in weeks…. Lots of trash noted on property …. Empty beer cans, cigarette butts and plastic etc. overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the outdoor shower and all the other amenities….

Everyone had a great time. three little girls had no beach experience, and two loved it. One just read her book! My grandtwins have been going to the beach since they were born, and they loved it. I am 93, so the dunes were difficult for me. We never went to the pool, and I think I am the only one who missed it. The kitchen had every kind of pot/pan/utensil one could want.

Although the weather was not good, we had a great time and hung out at the house most of the time! It was a great vacation home!

This home was one of our favorites that we've booked. Plenty of space and we loves the spacious decks. Of course the view was the highlight! Our only complaint is that the provided bath towels were still wet. Aside from that (and one windy day) our trip was great!!

Here are the cons: When we entered the house the smoke alarm was beeping low battery. We did have to change the batteries in them. The house didn't have spices and kitchen towels. The living room was on the very top floor. Carrying the groceries up the 64 stairs was not pleasant.
The pros: The beach views and access were nice. The house is VERY spacious and clean. You are located near a grocery store and restaurants.

Rogue Wave is a very nice home with very good views of the ocean and sound, and excellent beach access. The hot tub also is very nice with good views of the evening sky. This stretch of the Avon beach is really nice, and it will benefit from the planned beach nourishment project next year. The house has very good shaded parking underneath to keep the cars cool and sheltered. This is a very good beach house, and we have had very good experiences with OBR. The localisation of this house was just perfect : short walk to the sea, short drive to the grocery store and the pharmacy. The upper (main) floor is open and bright, and offers a stunning view of the sea. The house was generally very well kept and clean, and could easily welcome our party of eight people. It is a great place to sit back, relax and simply enjoy the moment. The house is also close to many sporting activities (surfing, kite surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, etc.) but it is better to make a reservation a couple of days in advance since these activities are very popular.

Fantastic view, plenty of room
The view from the top deck is absolutely spectacular! Nothing but ocean and waves as far as the eye can see. There was ample room with plenty of comfy beds. It is a four story house with no elevator, so be ready to heft everything up a few steps. I would definitely rent this house again!

This was my second rental oceanfront rental through Outer Beaches. Idle Minds was a nice home with a great surround sound theater room.My rentals include 3 things : Oceanfront, pet friendly and hot tubs. Renting in mid-December we had the entire beach to ourselves and there were no rentals around us so it was peaceful and quiet.Kitchen was adequately stocked . You can park up to 4 vehicles under the house. Be prepared to walk up 2 flights of stairs outside and two flights inside to get to the second floor which is a balcony overlooking the living room below.I rotate homes so Idle Minds would be one to reconsider in futere bookings. Idle Minds was a nice home with a great surround sound theater room.My rentals include 3 things : Oceanfront, pet friendly and hot tubs. Renting in mid-December we had the entire beach to ourselves and there were no rentals around us so it was peaceful and quiet.Kitchen was adequately stocked . You can park up to 4 vehicles under the house. Be prepared to walk up 2 flights of stairs outside and two flights inside to get to the second floor which is a balcony overlooking the living room below.I rotate homes so Idle Minds would be one to reconsider in futere bookings.
