The house was perfect! There were plenty of towels, plenty pf room and all of the amenities we needed. The location was excellent! The house was clean, ready early and close to parks and towns for exploring. The kids had a great time at Fort Casey! We would definitely come again nad have already recommended to friends!

This is a beautiful home on a spectacular beach. We were able to watch ships, seals, seagulls, and sunsets, plus a bald eagle plucking a fish from the water right in front of us. Our grandchildren delighted in the rocks, shells, and sea glass. It's magical. We were dismayed to find that there was no air conditioning, although we believe they have corrected the listing to state that since our stay and that they now provide fans. There is a lovely upstairs window seat, but it is a simple climb to the adjacent low wall overlooking the bottom of the switch-back staircase, 16 steps down, so we had to make it off-limits to our one- and three-year-olds who love to climb and could easily go over the edge. The stairs are carpeted, but the floor at the bottom of the stairs is stone tile, so a padded rug at the bottom would have been a welcome touch when renting to a family with children. The upper deck off the master bedroom has about a two-inch gap between the rail at the bottom of the panel facing the street, but it increases to a six- or seven-inch gap when the deck wraps around to face the water, which was not safe for our little ones. If you have small children, this might not suit your needs, otherwise, it's great as long as you read all of the Vacasa rules and restrictions, realizing there is no wiggle room. Our daughter's friend who was on the island for two days was not allowed on the property to share a meal or even use the bathroom. Even so, it could be perfect for you!

The place is well stocked. LOVE that it is right on the beach - and it's a sandy beach (vs rocky). The kids had a great time with the beach toys provided. Fair warning for parents, the bunk room doesn't have light blocking curtains, so in the spring/summer months when the sun doesn't go down until late, it might be harder for little ones go to sleep.

This property is well maintained and always perfectly cleaned. It has easy access to the beach just step off the deck and you are on the sand. As a senior with a bad knee this is so wonderful. We always come back to this property whenever we can get a booking.

Beautiful house and location....

The house is spacious and comfortable and has incredible views. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything was spotless. Whidbey is one of our favorite places and this house is located in a great part of the island. So nice to get to a grocery store in just ten minutes but also sleep in a quiet area where you can hear the waves. I would love to come back again!

Unfortunately here due to my father's passing, this was a wonderful retreat and very calming location, just what we needed. Don't hesitate to pick this location, thank you to the owner(s) for making it available.

We enjoyed this property and being right on the water. The house was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and there are plenty of amenities for cooking.

This house is amazing, however dealing with Vacasa and the invoicing with so difficult. There was no communication about house rules. If there was it went to spam had to call to get Internet information. But the property itself was fantastic all the problems had to do with communication with property management. I hesitate to recommend it because it’s such a gym with space and price that I don’t want to give away our new hidden secret for a great getaway lol. Also do your research for what days businesses are open on the island it seems like Sunday Monday and Tuesday a lot of stuff is closed. Great fishing.

Oh My Goodness, absolutely perfect. We walked in the house and the Sound was right there. We froze in place overwhelmed with joy. The pictures do not do the location justice. Every room in the home faces the Sound. If you want a quiet place to sit, watch all the sea life, play on the beach, this is the place. Loved this home so much, bringing my husband back for a long weekend.

This house was used as our home base for our son's wedding. It was beautiful and homey, the photos don't give it justice. It was a perfect place to decompress before and after wedding activities. The view is stunning, and the beach was fantastic.

This is definitely one of the nicest vacation homes I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. I was in desperate need of getting away from the hustle of life and this was exactly what I asked for. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the views were, and how clean it was. I opened the back doors and stepped onto the beautiful deck which was only steps away from the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need to cook a great meal. The master bedroom had incredible views and the king size bed was so comfy. I also really enjoyed the huge soaking tub in the ensuite bath. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy this lovely home again!

Overall stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Very comfortable home and beautiful location. I will be coming back. Only two complaints: 1)When we got to the house, the housekeeper (or someone) had febreeze or glade plug-ins running. Those are the air fresheners that plug into the electrical sockets (in case you are unaware). We are all pretty sensitive to perfumes in my family and we had to unplug them and air the place out as soon as we got inside the house. Not a big deal though. 2) Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am. This ends up almost making it feel like you've paid for an extra day that you don't use. When it's >$400 per night, it feels a bit like you're getting taken advantage of. If I were on a tight budget this might matter more to me, but I know that many people would not like this. On check in, we made the best of the situation by getting to Whidbey earlier and touring around a bit before we checked into the place.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house. Cannot beat the views from this location. Overall the house was very comfortable and clean. One complaint is that the WiFi goes through TurnKey which is on an unsecure network. This prevented some of our devices from connecting. Otherwise the house and location were incredible. Hope to book it again soon...
