We were looking for an escape from the FL heat and found it! The views were magnificent and the cabin was comfortable, nicely decorated and well stocked. We were extremely pleased with our experience and would highly recommend it!

My fiancé and I spent a week at the cabin, and it was some much needed downtime. The cabin was exactly as described and the views from the cabin a beautiful. You will definitely need four wheel drive to get to the cabin. If you are looking for a secluded cabin with gorgeous views then this is definitely the place.

My wife and I spent a long weekend away from the kids at the cabin. Obviously the view was amazing but we also enjoyed the birds and wildlife. Pretty cool record collection as well. I don’t think we turned the tv on once. Left relaxed and fulfilled. Great stay!

This house is nothing short of Unbelievable. It lives up to its name. The check in instructions and directions given by Property Management was so accurate. We never had any problems accessing the front door. In fact, every time I called the Property Management prior to the trip, they were very communicative. So helpful to someone like me who had a million questions. I would reiterate the need for a 4 wheel drive, it is needed once you get past the main road as you ascend the mountain. There were many towels, extra blankets, pillows, all the pots, kitchen gadgets and dishes you need. The gas fireplace is so amazing. Robin with the property Management was GREAT, I reached out to her for a small issue and was resolved swiftly and I just cannot say enough great things about her. Lots of land to walk and discover right out the front door. On our way home, we were already talking when to book this property again.

The property itself is fantastic. If you are looking for an off-the-beaten-path getaway to relax and unwind away from noise and people, THIS IS IT. The cabin is adorable and comfortable and the views are absolutely beautiful. As the other reviews say, you will not get to the cabin if you don't have 4-wheel drive. I will be honest, I didn't believe this at first. But there is no question, just don't even try. The one and only issue we had was the check-in process. Supposedly you download an app that connects to the house lock via bluetooth with you arrive and you're in. Sounds too good to be true because...it is. We arrived late at night, as we drive in from 3-4 hours away after work on a Thursday. It was freezing, we could not get in the house, we had "spotty" at best cell and internet service. We called all numbers available for the property owners and managers and could get through to no one. We finally had to call the general VRBO help/customer service line and they also could not get through to the property owners the first two times. We sat in the VERY cold and dark for ~40 mins while they told us they were trying to find us ANOTHER PLACE to stay the night. (They actually had the nerve to ask if we could just go to a hotel....). They did finally end up getting in touch with the property owner around midnight and we discovered there was a combination lock box beside us with keys in it the whole time (this was never given to us as an option for check-in). Once inside the house the rest of the trip was picture-perfect. I would definitely stay here again, just make sure to have a secondary, more reliable, check-in option.

Suggestions: Discard sheets on main floor bed (very thin and pilly). Ensure that dishwasher detergent is stocked (there was none). Consider stocking paper towels. Thank you!

Thankfully, it had puzzles and board games as well- because the weather was rainy most of the time we were there. Still nothing short of amazing on view! I’ll reiterate, to ensure you have 4WD if you rent this cabin. We did, but can see how it would be almost impossible for someone who didn’t. Communication with folks who rent out the cabin was okay. I asked a few questions in preparation to come and those were never directly answered (about the type of coffee maker that’s there, about if it would be possible for us to get early check in because we were driving a long way). The important things like specific directions and info to get in were sent, so it was fine.

What an incredible cabin. We had an amazing time. This was truly unbelievable. The cabin was fully equipped, the view and the location was just perfect. The keyless entry was very easy to use. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent secluded "top of the world" get-a-way property. Very comfortable for family or 2 couples. Everything you need to just sit back, relax, and escape 21st Century pressure (save for the excellent wi-fi if you must engage). Don't be afraid of last 0.6 of a mile access road. Not exactly perfect on cleanliness and google maps will take you to the wrong place. It is difficult to find and pretty difficult to get up the drive. Overall though the view was amazing and the rustic decor in the cabin was quite tasteful. Do not book this cabin unless your vehicle has 4WD

It was beautiful and we absolutely loved it!

The views from this home are incredible. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. Tip # 1 - we got the wrong WiFi info from the rental agency but, the homeowners have the info on a board above the slider door left of the fireplace. Tip # 2 - you need 4WD. We have a 2WD Highlander and had to rent an SUV w/4WD from a local rental place to make it up the hill. It was worth it!

Amazing time! We will be back!

Family could not have enjoyed the stay more. Amazing location, great hiking and day trips available in every direction, immaculate cabin. Only negative is the check-in process requiring a bit of a drive out of the way. Otherwise, would stay again any time!
