We were in town for IronMan NC 70.3 and had a great weekend! The location was great, the house was nice and clean and was as described on the the listing. Hoping to be back soon!

We really enjoyed the house and the dock. House came with everything you need for a week at the beach! Chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon to get your gear up the street. Also enjoyed the bikes and paddle boards!
We ended up spending most of our time on the island of the end of the pier felt like our own private beach.
Only negative was the public parking right in front of the house. Lots of traffic and commotion. Not overly noisy - just made getting in and out a bit of an issue.
In all, would go back again without question.

We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend - house was clean and had everything we needed. Gorgeous views and a short walk to the beach.
Only complaint was the fact that the living space was on the third floor - so there wasn’t really a place to lounge/hang out on the same floor as the kitchen.

The second we walked in we were in awe! The home was sparkling clean! The water views were beautiful. It was hot but we found breezes outside and the house was a cool escape! Easy walk to the ocean. The “loop”was a great place to walk and see the town. The description does not say there are beach chairs, sand toys and everything else you could use on a beach vacation. Wish we had known before we dragged everything from MA. But truly one of the best family vacations we have had!

We were displaced from our home for 6 weeks due to some renovations. The hooks cottage made us feel like we were at our second home. The house is equipped with everything we needed and more! Our kids enjoyed the bunk room and all the games/toys the home provided. The majority of our time was spent outside enjoying the dock and the private beach. Even though we are local to Wilmington we will be back to stay at the Hooks cottage!
