This was our first large family vacation since Covid 2020 and we wanted to once again do a lake vacation. Found this home in Lake Norman to be extremely adequate for our group of 18. We loved the layout of the property and the yard and the fire pit was excellent. The hot tub was perfect on the deck and our group was able to just disperse to different places to go play in the game room or shoot hoops at the basketball court. The easy access to the beautiful Lake made it very easy to utilize the paddle boards and the floating mats which we all loved. In addition we rented the pontoon boat from Zee as well as the Turbo jet ski in addition to bringing a jet ski of our own, which gave our group of 18 options to spend on enormous amount of time out on the water. In the evenings, we would have our family meals together and then enjoy a nice bonfire and on a couple of evenings we had some very fun and hysterical volleyball matches on the wonderful volleyball court. It was also a wonderful area for some of the family members to go take walks to get in their daily exercising. We did have a couple of issues with accessing the TVs. There is an STR button on remote to access and navigate stations. The pontoon boat cover had been previously torn off, so we did not have a cover, which was a little tough on the sunnier days. There are three thermostats in the house that need to be coordinated in order to get ample air-conditioning in the upstairs rooms. All in all a 5 star property

I could not have asked for a better property to host friends and family at. Ample space for guests to stay, a huge yard with one of the best views on the lake and plenty of activities included with the house for everyone to enjoy.

Family gathering for ages 1 to 60 - perfect for our group. Game room was a big hit! Paddle boards, kayaks, with life jackets were much utilized.

From the pictures this property looked amazing and we thought it would be the perfect spot for our extended family of 20+ to get together for a long weekend. When we arrived, we quickly realized the house had not had much upkeep or cleaning. The house is older and needs some updating. There were many bugs and insects found in the house, the grill was covered in mold and there was garbage found in the dresser drawers. The showers and sinks did not have much water pressure and the showers were without drain plugs and did not drain well so when you showered you ended up standing in several inches of waters. The dryer was broken and therefore we were not able to do laundry. Overall the property was not what we had expected. The host did come to clean the grill which we appreciated but when we tried to use it we realized not all the burners worked. Overall the property was not what we were hoping for and we were disappointed with our stay.
