After a rough year of losing our mom and our dad’s health declining, we wanted to find a place that the whole family could come under one roof and stay together. Everyone loved the house, it has plenty of room for 13 of us while giving everyone their own space. The decks over looking the ocean provided beautiful views ( day and night) which everyone loved. The kitchen and dining area was perfect, having us all at one table. The living room on the 2nd floor provided more than enough room for everyone to hang out and visit/watch the football games and watch a few movies together all with the incredible ocean backdrop. I am sure the house is amazing during the summer but it’s just what our family needed in the off season to be able to all be together for the week. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted some bonding time with your family without constantly being on top of each other.

Our family has been coming to Sandbridge every summer for over 15 years. We love the area, the laid-back atmosphere, and the beautiful beaches. This was our first time renting this particular vacation home. We arrived a little early and the owner was on-site overseeing cleaning and taking measurements to prepare for some upgrades. The owner was very pleasant and took some time to show us around the house. The house was very clean. The upper floor common room had modern, comfortable furnishings that were a highlight, and it was easy for us to connect our electronics to the large-screen TV there. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The washer and dryer worked well. There were kayaks and beach supplies like chairs and umbrellas available. I can't speak to their quality since we brought our own beach supplies. There is a downstairs outdoor shower stall which was great for washing the sand off before coming inside. The beach access is convenient. There were a few downsides, but nothing that ruined our vacation. This home is on stilts and you will need to climb at least one flight of stairs to get inside, which would be a consideration if you have older members of your party or anywho for whom climbing stairs would present a difficulty. The furnishings are up to date, but the home itself is a little dated. It lacks some of the modern amenities that we have experienced at similarly priced vacation homes like walk-in closets, walk-in showers, and jet/jacuzzi tubs. The kitchen was also not quite as well-stocked as other similarly-priced vacation homes, with a particularly curious relative lack of coffee mugs. There were also a few areas in disrepair, such as exposed carpet nails in one of the downstairs bedrooms leading into its bathroom. Also, the deck gate appeared to be hung incorrectly and someone had removed the screws from the lower hinge so that the gait would swing. This left a single hinge to hold the weight of the gate, which required the user to lift a portion of the not small weight of the wooden gate in order for it to swing. The upper balcony also had areas in need of repair, with nails and screws either sticking up or rusted off entirely. There was an ant infestation in the kitchen, so any food not placed in the refrigerator needed to be stored in a sealed container. The oddest thing to prepare for is that the house shakes at random times. One of our party members commented that sitting on the toilet when it happened felt like using the toilet in an airplane. It wasn't constant, but it is a little disconcerting when it happens. Overall, this is a very nice beach house. Like any rental house, and any house on the oceanfront, I'm sure it is a constant struggle to keep up with upgrades and repairs.

Plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and 6 kids ages 8 months to 14 years old. Not sure how you could park 7 cars, but 4 SUVs fit fine. Home is right next to public access, so get out early to get your spot if you don’t want to have to walk too far. Ocean front is great but views from lower deck are somewhat blocked due to the dunes/grasses but great views from the upper deck! 2 fridges are great with a big family and plenty of flat screen TVs. All in all you can’t go wrong!

Great location, very spacious, lots of king sized beds. It has 2 fridges which is great for large groups.
