The house, including the bedrooms was very spacious and airy with modern fittings. i loved having a large walk-in wardrobe for the master bedroom and the beautiful modern ensuite. The location was great! I liked that it was in easy walking distance to the southern end of the beach which was a very suitable area for the toddler and for fishing. We agreed it was better than being right across from the beach where the road and pedestrain traffic was much busier. We still had a (slightly interrupted) view of the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for some of our meals and snacks when it wasn't windy. The kitchen was very modern and supplied well with ample cooking utensils, glassware, crockery and cutlery. The outdoor hot and cold shower was useful after trips to the beach. It was clean on arrival.

I didn't like that we had to bring all our cleaning products and that only one toilet roll was supplied for each toilet for 8 guests over three nights. This felt very stingy for the amount we paid. It's the first place I have ever stayed where I have had to bring my own cleaning products and additional toilet paper. Even when staying in Nationl Park huts we haven't had to do that. Although the conditions stated that definitely no animals were permitted, it was evident that there had been a cat on the lounge. I am allergic to cats and I suffered with an allergic reaction to the cat dander tht was on the lounge cushions. My husband tried to help by vacuuming all the lounge cushions but I still had the same reaction after he had vacuumed it. the cushions probably need to be steam cleaned to remove the cat dander. This meant that I could not relax on the lounge but had to sit in one of the upright chairs in the evenings.

Comfortable property with plenty of room for all the family.

No broom and/or dustpan to help with those little cleaning jobs during your stay - crumbs on the kitchen floor etc.!!
